I wanted to try something different for lunch today and I was in the area so I gave this restaurant a try. You definitely get what you pay for, it filled me up so much that I’m still full. The chicken tenders are huge and I feel like it would be perfect for sharing with someone. However they were lacking flavor even with condiments it still tasted like it needed a little something extra other than that the fries were good, along with their apple slushie which was really good...
They really have the best crispness in there fried chicken breast meat was perfect. Simple place but its one of the best places for fried chicken I have been.Fried chicken is a staple in the south and they knocked it out of the park...!!!!!!
I ordered a shrimp and fish plate with a side of red beans and rice. The shrimp was seasoned well, fish wasn't fried crispy but was also seasoned well. However, as someone who's family is from Nola, please take those red beans and rice off the menu ASAP, they are an abomination to Louisiana!! No gravy, no smoked meat, just dry and flavorless. Hell, Popeyes has better red beans. Those wore more like rice and peas and I don't think the Caribbeans would even claim...
