The food was amazing and the service impeccable. We started with some fresh bread and instead of just olive oil and balsamic vinegar, you're given soft and delicious cannellini beans in olive with herbs. WOW! Then I enjoyed the watermelon salad which was fresh and unique. I finished out with Riggatoni Buttera which was the waitresses recommendation, she was not wrong. I would love to go back.
I chose this restaurant based on memories of great food on business trips from years back. My wife and two friends wanted an early dinner before catching a later flight home. It was a great experience, we started with the calamari and octopus appetizers. I and one friend had the beef short ribs that were on a special menu. My wife had the spaghetti carbonara and the other friend had a mixed seafood special. My New Orleanian wife gave her approval, which doesn't happen often....
Don't ask me why but we hadn't been to Luce in 20+ years. It is certainly apparent why this restaurant is still going strong! We had a delicious meal and first rate service! We will return sooner for sure!
