I became a frequent customer at this establishment spending $40 plus each order and today I decided to call to gain clarification on business hours so that I could make sure that before I spend my money elsewhere I spent it here first because I know what to expect and I actually enjoyed the food I often ordered. however , upon my first time calling I got hung up on by a young lady who tells me to hold on as soon as she answers the phone. doesn't even say hello or anything and not even a minute later I get hung up on so I called back and informed her that she told me to hold on and then hung up on me. Do you think I received any kind of apology from this young lady?, NO! She then proceeds to tell me to hold on again so I hold on because again I was a loyal customer and I stood on business about ordering here first before I went somewhere else. Well while I'm waiting on hold I'm hearing nothing but chit chat in the background nothing pertaining to work and certainly no kind of sense of urgency to get back to me when the young lady don't even know why I'm calling in the first place. next thing you know it's 16 minutes I've been on hold so I hang up to call back and my calls are now going to some answering machine. I mean just absolutely unprofessional, no phone etiquette whatsoever! A complete and utter disgrace. It's not a flex. You lost a loyal customer today because of silliness and I'm from the DMV but the way service was not prioritized I realized the value of my dollar isn't worth anything here. Sad to say but that was it for me, I'm happy to take my business elsewhere.

I ordered the fish & shrimp with green beans and yams . Those yams and green beans are definitely canned . At least the yams has flavor . Green beans were garlicky but of course no salt and pepper

I’m highly disappointed as I’ve been coming here for some time. My crab cake was not done. The yams were disgusting and the service was trash. The man who took my order was very nice but the man giving out orders was very rude. $40 for trash! It doesn’t even taste good! This wasn’t even a 5oz crab cake! Never again!

Don’t get me wrong, Lulu’s is always good but it’s a hit or miss as far as wait times and availability. After waiting 40 minutes for my food (seeing people order after me getting their food first), repeating my order before I got it, it was still wrong after checking it. I just decided to take the grilled shrimps, although I ordered fried. I didn’t want to make a big deal because I know how it is working under busy conditions. However, nothing was offered to rectify the mishap when I stated this wasn’t what I ordered and that speaks volumes as a loyal customer. Thanks for all the hard work you all are doing!

I love the service, the warm cashiers & cooks, the hospitality and above all THE WINGS. (Also try the crabcakes, No filler used and it's the size of a softball!)
Favorite Flavor Wings: Honey Lemon Pepper Favorite Sides: Yams, Baked Mac, Seasoned Fries & Yellow Rice Flats or Drums? Flats for me but their drums are also delicious with a lot of chicken on the bone.
If they have their signature red velvet cake in stock, you have to try it out!
Get the sweet tea and don't think twice about your blood sugar while taking your first sip (It's so good, you'll have to see for yourself!).

I stopped by, I do not regret it one bit and it’s worth experiencing.
Catfish Platter — 4.5/5. My girl ordered this is and she loved it. The flavor of the yams and the mac, perfect sides for the catfish and rice.
Cajun Salmon and Shrimp — 4-4.5/5. I loved everything about this but the only thing is I didn’t get that Cajun kick I was expecting. That aside, the mac was delicious and the greens did justice. If the Cajun cream sauce had some spiciness to it, this would easily be a 5/5 meal.
I'll be back to try some more.

This was my first time going to LuLu’s and the food was AMAZING. Everything was perfectly seasoned, I got the stuffed salmon. They took excellent care of me. The tea was a little too sweet for me, but I’ll definitely be back for the food and folks.

I’ve actually never had “Maryland” style crab cakes that were this gross…. The level of fishy shows how inland they are and the rest I personally want to question if they have been to Maryland. No seasoning… AT-ALL
The crab cakes were gooey and almost the worst fish smell I’ve ever had.
The garlic mashed potato’s were actually pretty good
The Mac and cheese …… there’s not an emoji for how dry and flavorless… which was so odd bc the color and base texture definitely tempted you
I just didn’t expect the food to LACK in any flavors they present -Maryland crab cakes ; texture wise /flavor was not even close - but the worst part was actually how old their crab tasted- it was so dated and fishy: easily one of the worst I’ve had in Charlotte.
The people at farmers market is still 30-40% better and it’s basic.
Lessened learned -you eat Maryland crab cake from Maryland or Charleston crab cake from south.
Charlotte is to far in-land if this is the way the seafood is going to smell- I threw it away bc I didn’t want the foul smell inside my house

I ordered doordash as ive heard nothing but good things. This entire order tasted like a ball of cajan salt. The mac and cheese was gross, this was cheese, noodles and cajan spice..it looks like it came from a bag.Catfish looked under cooked and again...very salty no flavor. Im pissed.
