I had the salmon platter and it’s the BEST salmon I’ve ever had, hands down. The Mac and cheese was excellent and the yams were perfect - not too sweet and felt very light.
Anastasia helped us and she was so SWEET and delightful to be around. She provided suggestions and didn’t rush us even though other people were coming in. I would 100% come in the food truly speaks for itself.

First went to LuLu's during the pandemic. Went the other day and that place hasn't missed a beat! Great food & Anastasia provided great customer service. Will stop by again when I'm in the area.

Visiting from Lafayette, Louisiana. Missing home cooked meals. Was told to check them out, and so glad I did. The owner and his brother visited with me. The staff all were so awesome. They visited with me and checked in with me. I had the fried chicken, cornbread, Mac, and garlic potatoes. Along with a tropical lemonade. Best!!!! Check it out!!!

Ordered food online said it’ll be ready at 3:28. Get there told me there will be another 30 min wait on pork chops. Total time I waited an HOUR. No apology nothing for time wasted. Other food was cold from waiting on other order. Paying $50 you would expect food and service to be A1

Food was great overall. I found this place through an IG reel and suggested to my father that we should go try it out. We ordered to go. I got the catfish platter with collards and mac as my two sides. He ordered the fish and chips with whiting being his option.
Typically, you would be acknowledged with a quick glance and forced 'welcome' to the establishment when a venue is close to closing. Not here. We walked in and were warmly welcomed in. The place is a small kitchen setup so you wouldn't think much of it but the mellow vibes, blending with the customer service and good music does something for the place that paint and fixtures cannot, alone. Rachel, I believe was her name, assisted us at the counter. Dad wanted to get a lemonade as well once we got there and she was more than willing to help, even as far as to try and sell more menu items despite being close to closing. Once are food came up, she opened the containers to show the orders and asked if we were content with them. Afterwards she then proceeded to add some extra sauces for us to try with our meal based on her recommendations for pairings earlier.
Cracked open the box when we got back home and proceeded to dig it. The fish was good. It had a nice combination of seasoning and texture (because sometimes places will give you one and not the other👀). Tried the mac and cheese. It had a little more salt than I would like but overall was still good on the tongue. The greens..they made me mad....on the first bite, I was pissed that I didn't get the cornbread (which was some hefty slices). But the winner of the night was the lemonade. Don't know if any of you have ever seen Holiday Heart but that lemonade had me like Alfre Woodard in there. Had to stop taking sips in the place because I would have had to buy two more to replace the one.
Overall, great place, great atmosphere, excellent communication between cooks and cashier, good food and damn good lemonade.

Very disappointed. Lulus was one of my favorite spots in charlotte when they 1st opened. Now the food we ordered was not great. The yams and rice and mashed potatoes were very undercooked. The stuffed salmon used to come with a delicious sauce on it and it no longer does. The flavor is ok but it is very dry. I am so disappointed. This plate is very costly and it was no where near worth it.

This Mac n cheese making my eyes roll back, it’s just too good. The catfish and yams are good as well. Rachel is so stunning and did an amazing job in helping me what to order! Compliments to the chefs there as well. I will definitely come back for the Mac n cheese
