I got introduced to the Tres Leches cake here and it is hands down one of the best if not the best cake that I've had. I've tried the Tres Leches cakes in 2 other bakeries and I've been disappointed. I tasted different flavors including pineapple marmalade, strawberry marmalade and peaches. In the three years that I have been in Charlotte, one of the most emblematic bakeries is Manolo's Bakery. I admire the passion and care with which they make their products, as well as their attention. Behind the wonderful flavor of their desserts, ice creams and cakes, is the work of Manolo, his wife and the entire team that accompanies them, with an ingredient that not everyone has: a social purpose.
