Masti Indian Restaurant and Bar , 128 Brevard Ct. in Charlotte, received a score of 86% during its Thursday, Nov. 14 inspection.

The restaurant was cited after inspectors found “multiple cockroaches of various sizes and small gnats” and “multiple deceased pests” in the basement, county documents show. A small cockroach was also found in a container of rice.

Pizza boxes stored on the floor in the basement

The food was quite good. Butter Nan was very soft and tasty. Chicken dishes were excellent. Boneless Chicken Biriyani is just Chicken fried rice.

I love indian food. And have not been able to find a location of an indian restaurant that I really like until now. The buffet was very delicious with so many items. The staff was very cooperative and the main chef was too good.

First time here. I noticed they had lunch buffet. Decided to check it out. The buffet is located upstairs in the restaurant. A good variety of items. But all of them were nearly empty when I went. I decided to wait and see if they will come to put some more out. The lunch buffet not bad. Every item was full of flavor. The gobi 65 wasn't good and the chicken murchan either. Also you have to serve your own drinks. But next time I will order from the menu.

I went with a part of seven, everyone ordered individual dishes, and literally every single thing was delicious. I will be getting the chana masala with chili garlic naan next time.

Chef powell is amazing and the food was very delicious. Really liked the use of dry coriander seeds and fennel seeds in malai kofta and navratan korma. Would definitely come back
