I ate here a few nights ago while traveling for work. I wanted to try some local bbq. It was a weeknight and it wasn’t busy. The food and the atmosphere were alright but nothing special. Staff were friendly. I ordered the ribs and would say they were average. The Cole slaw was pretty good.

Good food with a nice atmosphere and decor. The quasadilla as a starter was good and the LTD (Living The Dream) with all the different cuts was a treat. And make sure to get the cornbread, that stuff was soo good.

Came to town for a concert, and this was the closest place to our hotel. It was absolutely amazing!!! The pork sandwich was great, and the Mac and cheese was for real baked from grandma's kitchen type stuff, and fried squash was pretty good!!

I want to start this off by saying, I am not a huge fan of BBQ, but this is my husbands favorite restaurant. We met some friends and our waitress was just kinda odd, we were still sitting down and get situated and she just continued to stand there and wait for us to take our drink order.
My husband got the pork platter, I had the pot roast, and our son had chicken tenders. We also ordered some cornbread for the table which everyone loved. I was the only one with leftovers, and it was only because it was not good. There was no flavor other than the very heavy smoked flavor. The pot roast also was dry. When I think pot roast, I think it should have some kind of gravy or something with it. Based on other reviews that I read after we were there, I would not have gotten it. Husband absolutely loved his pork platter and fried okra. He always says he’s not a veggie guy, but will eat the fried okra here.
We eat here every few months or so, but I have never felt welcomed or like anyone is overly happy to serve us. I have always felt that way regardless of who I have gone with.
I have this a 4 because normally the food is much better and it must have been a bad night.

So good! Yummy bbq. Good service. Always busy. The fried okra is bomb greens are bomb mac is bomb potatoes salad..bomb. ribs ..bomb lol
Had the platter last time everything was good but the pot roast was dry.also has chicken pulled pork and ribs w 2 sides.. Overall I'll keep coming back. So yum. Cocktail was bomb. I had deep eddy w sweet n sour mix. Ummm yes please! Lol

Obnoxiously conservative on the outside. The BBQ pork platter was bland and the smoked sausage was dry. Mac and cheese and cornbread are pretty good though.
