McKoy's Smokehouse and Saloon

I would not recommend this place. I wasn’t very impressed by the food and the server was really rude. Now I will say the fried squash was well seasoned and the sausage was nice and spicy. The food came out in a timely manner and the prices were decent. I like to spend my money in places that make me feel welcomed, and I did not get that feeling here.

After unfortunate circumstances being left cold and alone like a toad on the sidewalk, I was fortunate enough to have stumbled into McKoys. The whole vibe of the place is only comparable to the 7 wonders of the world, and don't even get me started on the staff. What a wonderful group of gals. Not only did I feel welcomed I felt as if I could conquer far lands.

Great place to go eat if you're going somewhere with your dog. The dog must be well controlled and well-mannered but they welcome my dog would open arms and that was great.

Well found bbq brush bristles on top of our ribs. $40 of crappy ribs not even tender. Waitress left our table for bigger party. Never came back til end of dinner so we didn’t even order more things. So the entire time we were asking any and everyone who worked there to help us. Bad service for so much money. Food was ok but had better Smoked meet. Way better. No one in family really loved it.

Was out shopping around Charlotte and needed something to eat and this place was close so I dined here for the first time and it was great! I sat at the bar and Andrew was my bartender. He was great and very kind. Highly recommend this place and I hope to come visit again soon!

I ordered the pork BBQ platter with Mac and cheese and sauteed green beans. My son ordered the wings and fries off the kids menu. I ordered an old fashioned that was just okay. Food cam out in good time and had good flavor. There is a vinegar sauce and BBq sauce on the table that go together really well with the pork. My wife, son and I all has the peanut butter pie which was excellent.

I loved the flavor of the meat. The owner welcomed me as a first timer and the whole staff was attentive and informative about the menu before I ordered the pot roast, Mac and cheese long with fried squash. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

We went to eat here last minute. It was very close to closing time and they were still very welcoming. The food was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very sociable. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by here and grabbing some food.

The sauce is 0+ the food is not very good the mayo in the potato salad was yuck!!!! It looks like a place to drink. If they want to improve there food go eat at sconyers barbecue Augusta ga the place has served the white house and it's food done right very tasty. U gotta try their rice and hash. Sconyers has been in business almost 100 years. Go check em out. Awesome food cooked well and spiced very good.

Had a really nice lunch here with the family. The food was fresh, and the staff was super friendly. Definitely coming back next time we’re in the area!
