I almost overlooked this place directly next door to my hotel. I wasn’t very hungry but the menu looked like great. So I stop by and order the soul roll which was very good. I wanted to order the veggie plate but was actually satisfied with the soul room. I’m gonna order veggie plate of re beans and rice and yams before I leave. Service good and prices even better.

We went on a Saturday night. It was just a little before closing but they told us to come on in. It was crowded but my social anxiety was quickly drowned by all that good food and tea. I had the 3 vegetable with potatoes salad, mac and cheese and yams. The cornbread was excellent as usual. The food was more than usual so I had more on my plate than I could eat. I meant to order extra corn bread to go but forgot.

This place is a gem!!!! Manager A+, FOOD A+, Experience A+, WAITRESS- BRITTANY THE BEST TO EVER DO IT and the other staff-A++++ I had to tell the manager how awesome it was at the end because too often people are quick to complain, I like to give good feedback.
