A great Italian restaurant in the heart of Uptown Charlotte! The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, the service is attentive, and the pasta is delicious. Being located inside the DoubleTree makes it especially convenient for dinner before a game, concert, or night out downtown. Definitely worth visiting!

Forchetta is an Italian restaurant located within the DoubleTree hotel in downtown Charlotte. While the staff is attentive, some guests have found the parking situation confusing, although they do validate parking. The menu features classic Italian dishes like lasagna and pasta, with mixed reviews. The calamari appetizer was well-received, and the seared scallop and octopus appetizer was also noted as delicious. The lasagna, which includes bison and bechamel sauce, surprised some diners with its flavor. Other standout dishes included the grilled octopus, rabbit ragu pasta, and the seafood pasta, which is delicious. Forchetta provides a decent dining experience, though some guests preferred their local Italian spots over this hotel restaurant. However, many plan to return, especially after enjoying the food and service.
