We really enjoyed the brunch and Horace was our server and was phenomenal! Would definitely recommend Mico for a date night or any other celebration. Ambience was very nice and loved the live music playing creating a beautiful experience.

Another fabulous dinner at Mico! We brought out-of-town guests, who loved the beautiful dining room and elegant ambiance. It was quiet enough for our table of six to have good conversation. The food was all delicious! We started with the 3 dip appetizer, which was a lovely and interesting tour of Argentinean flavors. The branzino and salmon entrees were both perfectly cooked with delicious sauces. Will be back!

I was deeply disappointed with my New Year's experience at MICO. The prix fixe menu was wholly unjustified for the price point. The limited offerings were overwhelmingly seafood-forward, an inconsiderate approach given the prevalence of seafood allergies, sensitivities, and general aversions. The opening course was particularly problematic—a mushroom preparation that suffered from poor texture and improper temperature. This was followed by lobster bisque shots and a charcuterie selection comparable in quality to a standard grocery store deli, lacking any refinement expected of a fine-dining establishment. The sole redeeming element of the evening was the double-crusted veal served atop an arugula salad with edible floral accents. That said, even this dish fell short, as the thicker portion of the veal was significantly undercooked. Dessert was a tiramisu that was clearly mass-produced and unremarkable. While Charlotte is a beautiful city with tremendous potential, its so-called “fine dining” scene often feels underwhelming and, at times, exploitative rather than thoughtfully curated. Beyond the food itself, the ambiance further detracted from the experience—sloppy execution, excessively loud techno music, and subpar bartending all contributed to the disappointment. Overall, this evening felt less like a refined culinary experience and more like a pretentious display lacking substance. I do not recommend MICO.

My husband and I have dined here several times over the years, and decided to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary with a special New Year's Eve dinner. While I absolutely love MICO, I wasn't a fan of the pre-selected menu and would have preferred the option to order from their regular menu. That said, our experience was truly elevated by Ashley, who took exceptional care of us throughout the evening. Her attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made the night feel special and memorable despite the menu preferences.

The food was not what we expected - disappointing! Not worth the price we paid. Our server was very nice but there were several times when we sat there with nothing in front us and no check in. We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant.

The food fell far short from our last experience with similar dishes. The service left a lot to be desirable. Overall a very disappointing evening.

Their fancy cocktail does NOT live up to the standards , actually it's one of the worst, bartender needs to be retrained

A fabulous dining experience for a special occasion. The menu is unique yet also has something for everyone. The ambiance is warm and ecclectic. The service is impeccable. Maha is top notch. Ask for her.

The dinner menu looked good. My lobster bisque was delicious as was my shrimp paella. They had some other seafood options that looked good, will try them next time I'm there. Husband's strip steak was good too, although on the pricey side.

What a beautiful restaurant! I made reservations for 5:15 and we were a little early. Our server, Tanner, was just wonderful. She spaced out our meal with perfect timing. We had an issue with a dish (wrong protein) and they fixed it immediately. I loved all the dishes!

Starting off, the hostess was also the sweetest woman, with the kindest smile. Horace was our server and he was an absolute pleasure. He was attentive without being overbearing. Told endearing stories about his life, and always had a smile to go with it. He recommended the a modified item on the menu (omelette with salmon) which was so good. They also had a live guitarist playing hits that enhanced the overall vibe. 10/10 will definitely be coming back

Went to MICO for special night out during short trip to Charlotte. Had high expectations for food given the price. Ordered seafood board for an app. Had way more chips and potatoes than seafood. Came with a few shrimp and two seafood dips. Small portions for the price. Then order paella, steak and collards. Steak was overdone but decent. Paella had weird combo of flavors and insanely small portions. Collards were inedible due to saltiness. Overall, food was not worth it here. Much better restaurants in the area for a fraction of the price.
