First thing, I walk in and a guy walk up to me as I walked through the door and stated, '"what's up?" So I am like Good Evening. So I then proceed to the corner to order my food. I looked back and this same guy is stand behind me. He stated, "I am security and need to search u." Well okay y'all search females to is what I asked. He like just take everything out your pocket. I did that. He left. So I am again standing at the corner looking at the menu,because it's my first time eating at the restaurant. Next thing I know, the cashier stated, "are you going to order something or not?" At that moment, I knew this wasn't the place for me. Very rude from the moment I walked in the door. If you security, you need to mark yourself as security cause otherwise things can turn out bad. On the other hand, the cashier(who appeared to be the owner) need to change her attitude. Cause no business stays running successfully that way. Yes it's one customer right now, u lost. But one less dollar you have. Every dollar counts when it comes to business in my option. Not one customer leaves unhappy in my book. And you can't please everybody but hey I will try my best too.

This place needs to go out of business. I ordered the hamburger steak and my boyfriend got the fried chicken with fries. My hamburger steak was small and burnt. His fries were undercooked like they just came out of the freezer and they smelled weird. I hope I don’t get sick tonight.

FIRST time spending money here: I order food online like a MONTH ago..and when I pulled up the place was closed when it said online there open til 2 in the morning. (It’s changed to 10 now) So I called the next day to get refund the man assured the refund was gone be back on my card 7 to 10 business. Which was cool that was my fault for ordering online and not calling to place the order that late. But it has been a month now and haven’t got it yet. DONT MESS WITH THIS PLACE ORDERING ONLINE, Because I feel like even if the place was close the order should have never went through. And when y’all came in the next day and seen a customer placed a order while closed why not reach out to that customer and figure out what would like to do about the order. I had to call myself and somebody acted as if the refund was complete when it was never even processed.

I ordered Chitlins since Sunset Soulfood is closed on Mondays and it was a terrible idea. These chitterlings are dark brown and have an odd taste and texture. I'm sure their other food is better but they shouldn't be selling chitterlings.

First of all I would like to apologize to all the people who have eaten at Mr,C on Tryon and Craighead and you were very disappointed trust me I feel your pain . Tonight the food I ordered from this place was the worst food I have ever had out of a restaurant. I ordered the Super C special all the way and what I got was 3 small little burger patties with no condiments on the sandwich. The fries were undone still hard on the inside. My wife ordered the fish plate and her fish was really light it looked undone and had no seasoning on it. Her fries were also undone and the greens were extremely salty. I promise you I will never step foot in this restaurant (if you can even call it that) again. I am highly dissatisfied and if I could give no stars or negative stars I would.

The food was nasty they just pour a can of beef stew on the rice. Which I never had stew beef over rice like that. The greens will give you a sugar fit. The service was slow. I will never go back.
The new owners is tarnishing his name, i ordered shrimp salad on the menu 5.99x2 at the top but they tried to charge 24$ then I canceled that and ordered 2 orders of gizzards for $13 and got one plate then asked for ranch and got blue cheese. Lawd I was done, they were cool about the refund tho. I asked about Thomas and they said their under new management ?

Those oxtails and greens “ OMG” tonight made me want to keep eating even though I was full. I saved the rest for tomorrow because it was more than enough. FYI....your girl from Georgia. Somebody definitely put their foot in “dem” greens. ?
