They changed the chicken to chicken thighs. Very upsetting. This used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant when they served chicken breast.

Met some friends for a birthday party. Generous portions, gracious service, entertaining chef. The mildly seasoned food made for a gentle introduction to the Japanese cuisine for our more timid diners.

Had a reservation at 8:30 didn’t get to us til after 9! The waiter appeared to have an attitude the chef had no energy at all then charged extra for rice the management was nasty as well me and we came for a birthday it was a horrible experience and won’t be back rather have went to Miyabi or Benihana for $70 then this….

I got the hibachi shrimp and it was sooo good, super flavorful and cooked right in front of me. The whole vibe was really fun! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Everyone we encountered here was pleasant. I called to see if there was a last minute reservation available and the young lady on the phone was so helpful. The hostess was very pleasant and efficient. The young lady taking our order and taking care of aour station was attentive and sweet. The whole experience was very positive and inviting.

Very slow places very average went two weeks ago was fine nothing special went back yesterday night and after eating I had the worst food poison ever. I don’t recommend there shrimp and noodles are badddd

This was my first time trying this location….I usually go to the Nakato on Pineville Matthew’s but me and my wife decided to give it a try. The staff was real welcoming and the restaurant is spacious/clean. My first complaint is the time management our reservations was set for 8 and our cook didn’t come til 45 minutes later. I later talked to one of the customers beside me and they had been sitting at the table since 7:30 so yea that says more than enough. What blew me away is the table next to us that came after us was served quite fast with no long wait. Our waiter was very good and attentive. The only part of the evening I enjoyed were the drinks at the bar unfortunately. Lastly the cook did not deliver the food was not good at all…there was no flavor whatsoever food was very bland. I looked at the plates around me and no one rarely ate. On tone of that they used chicken thighs for the hibachi chicken. As long as I’ve ever eaten hibachi they always use chicken breast , to me chicken thighs is not the right texture for hibachi. After a day of long shopping I was disappointed at this restaurant and I want be back. A can’t waste of time and money. Hopefully things turn around for the better or maybe it was just the wrong night and cook.

Food and service was top notch. Highly recommended!

Didn’t properly clean spatula. Just wiped it with a towel between handling raw meats (including chicken) and cooked foods. That can’t be compliant with sanitation standards. I hope they can change that.
