I just moved to Charlotte, and this is great sushi. I can be quite picky, I used to work for a sushi restaurant whose owner was a third generation sushi chef from Ōsaka. I got the sushi & sashimi combination, and it was wonderful. The rice was great texture and the fish was clearly fresh and high quality. I will certainly be back!

Update July 2025: I’m updating my review due that last time food wasn’t as usual: sushi was fried in some kind of old oil and taste wasn’t fresh. Me and my friend we both got nauseas after, not coming back 🥲

My favorite sushi place in Charlotte. It can be hard getting a table but I’m truly so glad they stay so busy. I get takeout really often and you cannot beat the quality and prices. Last time I was in, I saw what I assume was a long-standing customer pick up a very large catering order and it was nice seeing the staff help her carry the boxes to her car.
