I want to start off with the positive. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I was not happy with the brisket, although the taste was great. I had so much fat in my 1/2 portion, I was disappointed. I couldn't believe they would serve brisket with that amount of fat (without adding more meat). I felt like I paid for fat. Came to Noble Smoke here in Charlotte for brisket, butter beans, and cornbread. The burnt end of the brisket was flavorful and juicy. The thinly sliced single portion was dry and lukewarm. Brought it to the server’s attention and he immediately remedied it. That was a plus. Phillip was awesome. The butter beans were ok and the cornbread could have been a bit more soft.
Noble Smoke never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The brisket is tender, the ribs fall right off the bone, and the sides taste like real Southern comfort. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the whole place has a great vibe. Every time I come here, it’s a flawless experience. Highly recommend to anyone in Charlotte looking for top-tier barbecue!
