The food was awesome. Best steak tacos I've had in awhile. Only complaints are that the service was pretty slow and they were out of all of their cocktails at 530pm on a Saturday. The food was so good though I would definitely go back.

We loved the food but the service was not good. We were seated at a bar like table even though there were empty tables. Stools had no backs so not great for those of us with back issues. After we ordered drinks and food... nobody came to bring us the drinks. After 30 minutes the food came out and I asked if the drinks were still coming. The young man said he would just make the drinks right now. He did bring them right after that. They gave us waters in plastic cups even though they gave the people that were seated after us in those empty tables... glass cups for waters and decorations...plus those people got their actual drinks before us. I felt like they didn't want us there. We had actually planned to celebrate a life event but that will have to wait because this place didn't know how to handle the basics of service. Also, nobody came to check on us after the drinks came after the food. We had to flag someone down for the check and when we told them about our experience they were dismissive.

Noche Bruta was highly recommended to us by our friends. The fish and beef tacos dipped in their three sauces were phenomenal and the enchiladas were creamy and decadent. The tropical drink was lovely to sip on while enjoying all the punchy flavors of the food. The service and atmosphere could have been a more lively, but overall we enjoyed our experience.

Noche Bruta offers a creative blend of Japanese and Mexican flavors with such a pleasant setting, especially outside! The owners are doing everything right here with both HEX and Noche Bruta being absolutely top notch.

After finding this spot on social media we drove over an hour from Winston-Salem to try it. We were seated and then no one came back to our table. After 20 minutes of patiently waiting and noticing tables that came in after us had drinks I approached the counter to advise we’d had no service. They finally came around and we ordered drinks and food. The food was quick and delicious! So quick indeed that our drinks never came. I again had to remind the waitress that we’d ordered drinks other than water. Overall the food was great but the service made for a sour experience. Had we specifically not driven to CLT to try this place I would have left. I’d been so excited to try it for weeks and hate that my husband and I had this experience.
