Went yesterday for 11 year anniversary dinner! Had an awesome time! Food was excellent and service was good! Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Still a nice restaurant. Food is good. Only six tables and the service was sub par at best. 11:30 lunch. Two hour lunch and alot of time in between. Bread was good. Asked for extra oil twice….never received. Forgot both times. Chicken Piccata was good…..Bruschetta was good. Chocolate Torte was good. Ice cream with Flan melted. Tried to justify it as to where it’s kept. I had to change desserts to eat. Came for Flan so that was disappointing. Again, a lot of time in between. Last two times disappointing due to the service. Asked about separate checks on two occasions, must have forgot. Night service still seems to be great! Well taken care of at night.

Lovely place, one of our new top places in Charlotte. Everything we ordered was so good. The Arancini was the best I have had in a long time, crispy outside and creamy inside. The bruschetta was in a fluffy charred bread, tomato’s with basil and balsamic and some parm on top. We also got the short rib on polenta (another favorite) , crab ravioli was good to, mushrooms risotto wasn’t my personal favorite, but it didn’t matter since everything else was good. The cheese ravioli was also okay. My husband loved the regatoni with in the vodka sauce. Dessert we had the excellent marscapone flan and sofogliatine The atmosphere was great same and intimate, our server was not pleasant for the most part towards the end she warmed up a bit.Next time I look forward to trying the eggplant, many vegetarian options. Ample parking it’s located in a shopping center.Vegetarian options: Many optionsParking: Shared parking with other businesses, depends on how busy they all are

Came for anniversary and had a wonderful time. Giovanni gave excellent service and the food was outstanding. Simple but authentic carpaccio, lobster gnocchi and chicken special were to die for. We will be back!

Haven’t been in years. Thought I would return for my birthday. The food was disappointing to say the least. I grew up in New England and know my seafood and Italian food well. The crab ravioli had an odd after taste and the Shrimp Scampi w/Linguine lacked taste (as though the standard white wine and lemon were missing). To top it off, we received all different odd pieces of bread, (even different sizes-see photos). It was as if we got the left overs from the tables that didn’t finish theirs. Very expensive for what you get! Plus, it was my birthday, so my partner asked for their free dessert when he went to pick up the order. They said they only do that for dine in customers (all paying customers should be equally important). Definitely not going back.

I've been here twice and enjoyed both meals. The prices are a little higher and the portions are smaller than the average Italian restaurant but it makes up in the quality. Can recommend their octopus, calamari, faroe island salmon, and rigatoni vodka.

I tried vegetarian appetizer and mushroom and vegetarian rivoli the worst italian food i had till now. Too much salty . I tried at little mamas and started loving italian food and when i tried here at OGGI its worst experience.
Enjoyed a great meal for our 51st anniversary. Excellent service for Easter Sunday.

It was nice. We had a good evening there, but not amazing. I thought it was expensive for what it was. My little girl had the pasta and meatballs, and she liked it. I had the chicken parm. It was good but very heavy on the pepper... it overtook the dish. Know that the entrees don't come with sides. They are add ons. The entree should've come with a nice salad in my opinion. My daughter wanted a lemonade. She had 2. That alone was $10 for small glasses of lemonade. We also got the mascarpone flan with hazelnut ice cream. That was excellent. We paid $78 for me and my 5 year old and that was very expensive for what it was. I drank tap water. Overall, good. Not excellent.

Great Italian place. Went with family and we all got different dishes and they were all super yummy. Loved the fresh made pasta with garlic and oil!
My wife and I have been going to this restaurant 2-3 times per week and we have met there with our son and daughter 3 times with a party of 6. Last Saturday evening we have a reservation for 6 and when we arrived my wife and I were taken to the table at the doorway where you go from the main restaurant to the two rear rooms. They had set up two tables designed for two people each and placed another two chairs on each end, so three adults would be setting at a table designed for two. The end chairs one of which backed up near another table and the other end chair was at the doorway access to enter the rear rooms which is also where the wait staff hang out. I told the waiter (the one with a pony tail) this was not acceptable, that we had a reservation for 6 and he assured us this would be fine, my wife did not want me to make a scene. Well it sucked, there was not enough room on each table to accommodate three people, water and wine glasses, dishes and dinner wear. My wife even found a rubber band in her food so she had to wait while they made her a new entrée. At the end the restaurant added a 20% gratuity which we thought was a little high considering the service. No one apologized for the rubber band or the bad table and location. The food is good but is not fine dining and if you are a party of more than four good luck. By the way even Bentleys do not add 20% gratuity for a part of 6 and is a much classier restaurant.

OGGI is an amazing gem!! This is the 2nd time we have been there, and both times they were spot on. The food is cooked perfectly. We had the scallops and the filet mignon which both dishes were tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ambiance is wonderful and inviting along with great service. Don't forget to end the evening there with a mouthwatering desert or even an espresso/cappuccino.
