OMB at Charlotte Douglas International Airport

EVERY TIME I have a connecting flight here….its delayed! The seating situation is ridiculous (non existent). If you have a long delay….prepare to sit on the floor

Overcrowded. No AC. Poor signage. Overall worst airport maybe in the US

I fly every week for work and have been to most, if not all, major airports in this country. I also have to connect through CLT for almost every flight because it is the closest AA hub to me. CLT is BY FAR the most poorly run airport when it comes to flight operations. You need to add 20-30 minutes to your arrival time when planning connections because you will ALWAYS, without fail, be sitting on the tarmac due to another plane being at your gate. Every. time. You need to plan for at least 1.5-2 hours for your lay over in order to not miss your connection.

Choose a different airport, very unpleasant people work here.

I fly frequently and often through charlotte. I will no longer be using American Airlines through charlotte. I will drive to Boston and New Orleans, adding 4 hrs of driving to skip this facility, because it will still be faster than any flight i have taken from here in last 18 months.

Just stop for a drink. Please dont insist on anything else. Not that the bar can't handle it... just.... for the love of God...... please allow this bartender to tend bar and go get food somewhere else. He does amazing but we are better than this.... as customers.

Two hours for maintenance crew at the airport to arrive to fix broken GATE. We sat on tarmac for hours then they had us deplane because airport maintenance didn’t show and then maintenance decided to show and we are all having to reboard with new tickets and seats. I have NEVER had maintenance not respond to a plane. Crickets. American Airlines you are on my black list right up there with this airport.

The person behind the bar is terrible at her job. Not good with people and wasted my time, I ended up leaving. At an airport that's really not good.

Stopped in for a late dinner. Tricia is a fantastic waitress! Acknowledge those that give excellent service with a smile and a great attitude. Thanks Tricia for a wonderful experience, rare these days. Keep being a beautiful and kind human ❤️
My Reuben was GOOD and big, I needed a to go box!

I know airport food is always over priced but this was over the top for sub SUBstandard food. They were out of chicken tenders and sweet potato fries before we even ordered. Waitress was more interested on talking to her co workers than helping us. The food was at least hot but bland and pointless. Totally disrespectful to the actual OMB. Bad showing for someone passing through clt.

Charlotte airport is run by some incompetent people. Top down, people need to be fired. My original gate was C18(end of C terminal). Moved to A7, a long ways away…. We all board the flight & are then told maintenance needs to sign off on something. Second time today. This plane has been sitting at the gate since 7:30, it’s now 10:30. Ten minutes later, plane is taken out of service & we have to deplane to get on another plane they are pulling from the hangar. Why wasn’t this plane checked in the 3 hrs it was sitting here? This has become the norm when flying through Charlotte. Its use to be a great airport, start hiring competent employees.

We taxied up to our gate and stopped. The pilot said I have no idea why this happened but our ground crew just all walked away so we sat on the tarmac for an additional 10 minutes waiting for ground crew to return so we could pull up to the gate. WTH? And I won’t even tell you how disgusting the men’s room was once I got into the terminal.

A decent meal served by a very kind waitress with a beautiful smile: Nakhia! My compliments for the nice way to care for clients!!!

Great waitress! Her smile and friendliness was the best part of the meal. To many employees of the airport barely smile and they look miserable most of the time. So she was refreshing! Chicken sandwich was 7/10.
Give her a raise!
