The lettuce looked like it would give me e.coli or like it was some slimy green worm. Also my Mediterranean veggie sandwich had only 3 cucumber slices on it and they were about as thin as my nail. Awful and disgusting.

It was a lot of confusion going on with orders. Tables weren't clean. My soup wasn't hot it was luke warm. A lot to spend on a meal I didn't enjoy. This is not the Panera Bread I'm a custom to.

Rotten lettuce, really? How difficult is it to make a sandwich? Apparently it is very challenging for the owners and staff at this location. And No mayonnaise means that you should not put it on the sandwich. Have you ever heard of food allergies? Either way, the photo tells the story and I do not need to ever go back to ANY Panera Bread. I do not trust you.

Nobody at the counter to take the order. Waited - told to order via the kiosk then someone appeared. Ordered berry parfait - just strawberries. Not great.

Completely incapable of handling the weekday lunch rush which is surprising considering their uptown location. Kitchen was slow as molasses despite multiple people working back there. No joke there was a list of backlogged orders 20-30 deep and customers were having to give up and leave because they had waited so long for their food already and it still wasn't ready. The employees wrote down their phone numbers to get refunds when the manager returns on another day. I guess we will see if that actually happens.

Edit: Did successfully receive my refund a few days later which was good. Have not revisited yet to see if speed of service has improved.

Consistently takes like 10-15 minutes to give me a bagel that's already been made because of their very poorly run kiosk ordering system.

Love this lil morning pit stop or to grab some lunch and the manager Michael is always on point and friendly. He knows what he is talking about.

I ordered through door dash. I didn’t receive my mango smoothie nor my brownie. Not sure why they would rob me off my money but definitely the worse service I have gotten from Panera!

The food service here is horrible. I order a Toasted Garden Caprese, and it has too much balsamic vinaigrette and garlic aioli drizzle sauce to the point the bread is WET not TOASTED. I will no longer order at this Panera. You would think that by this being Panera downtown Charlotte it would have better quality. I've order this more than once with the same issue. Get a better cook who doesn't rush to get order out. A waste of money.

For the past decade, I have ordered Panera catering with confidence. The menu items are generally consistent across all restaurant locations. No surprises. We like to have the valentine cookies catered in for our office staff. The cookies are usually well decorated which adds to their high quality appearance. They usually look exactly like the pictures displayed on the Panera website, however this year’s order was a complete failure and such a disappointment. This was a poorly delivered joke. I was embarrassed to serve the cookies. At $500 for 200 catered cookies, I truly wanted to throw them away. The appearance of the cookies was unsightly. The royal icing formula was off and the icing never set. The icing was very thick, wet and sticky upon arrival. The icing smeared everywhere inside the wrapper so much so that it was difficult to try to remove the cookie from the wrapper without getting icing on our hands. Additionally, the Panera staff decided to get creative with their own personal designs which was also a complete failure. The cookies looked as if they had been decorated by young children. These were no where near professionally decorated cookies. More than 75% of the cookies were not presentable for a corporate event. Not sure what happened to Panera’s quality control but this will be our last Panera order of any kind . Attached is a single photo of the assorted valentine cookies pulled from the website, and the remaining photos are of the cookies we received from the Panera Uptown Charlotte Location on College Street. This is not what I expect from a professional catering company, especially when the order was placed a few weeks in advance. ( Update: We think these cookies were decorated with cinnamon roll icing. After a full day and night, the icing never did set and is way too thick for royal icing. The decoration just slides right off the cookie. It’s either cinnamon roll icing or the staff didn’t use the correct recipe)

This Panera takes forever to prep food. They tell you your food will be ready in 15 mins max and proceed to have you waste your entire lunch break for 45 mins.

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Customer service is always fantastic as well. Go and enjoy some cheddar and broccoli soup with a piece of delicious bread or a bagel, and the brownies are so delicious! You can go wrong with the selections at Panara.
