As I was ordering I watched the person preparing food at the counter cram a bagel with cream cheese down her throat, and that was disgusting and off-putting to see.
The person who rang me up was barely audible and didn't seem like they wanted to be there.

My go-to spot for bagels in Charlotte and there's always a decent crowd so I know I'm not the only one. I usually pick up one of their goody bags and steam a bagel every morning. The bagels are incredible.

Pizza sign out front, and pizza special posted on the door.
Had a great bagel and friendly staff, just disappointed by the pizza situation….

This African American Guy, sounds like he is from New York and possibly Italian delivered some bagels and was very rude. Had an attitude from the beginning till the end. I was being very polite and only asking some questions to clarify my misunderstandings. Won’t be doing business here anymore. I recommend sending someone who has great customer service and someone who can mantain their attitude when delivering and interacting with customers.

Hands down the most authentic bagel and Bacon egg and cheese sandwich I've had in the south if not better then what u can get up north, soo fresh u can tell bagels are made same day in house. Delicious can't wait to come back!!!!
Took out poppy, everything and whole wheat bagels. I know bagels are a very personal preference. These bagels were terrible when compared to Manhattan bagels or Poppyseeds bagels. They were heavy and doughy.

Dear Lord! We literally had to step over trash on the floor on the way in! The place is filthy, I mean not busy restaurant filthy, but health concerns filthy. I can't comment on the food because after a brief wait we left without ordering. Never will this be an option.

Poppy’s on providence has totally gone down hill. Once a favorite spot with a friendly atmosphere now only offers long wait times, rude staff and medium food. The new layout makes 0 sense. You’ll be waiting 30 minutes all the time hearing not to crowd the pick up order area…. I literally just got told be a staff member I needed to “be patient” when they tried to give me only half my order and I showed them the receipt. No apology.. They didn’t even check themselves before passing the order off to me. It was a 2 bacon egg and cheese order, not complicated to realize the order was incomplete. I could have gotten all the way home and not had what I ordered and you could tell they did not care. Will not ever go back.
