This is the only place that you can get authentic pizza.From New York with a New York style cheese.Some amazing I've tried them all trust me this is the same new york style italian pizza when I was ten years old!

Good food.
Portofinos food is always delicious. We eat there several times a month. House salad dressing is delicious. I love the chicken Portofino and my husband loves the veal dishes. Their hot sandwiches are really good and the fries always come out piping hot, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

We ordered UberEats to get dinner for us and friends but when the UberEats driver arrived, it was the completely incorrect order with not even a quarter of what we paid for. We called Portofinos’s to see if they happened to have our order still and Mauro was absolutely amazing. He was genuinely apologetic (even though it was NOT the restaurant’s fault) and expressed that he wants to take care of his customers. We drove over to the restaurant and received our order, and again, Mauro was so kind and even threw in a dessert for our trouble. When we got home, the food was delicious! Meatballs, garlic bread, sandwiches… just amazing. I would recommend coming here to eat because the food was delicious and the customer service (which you don’t see a lot of these days) was out of this world. Thank you Mauro for making a bad experience a great one. We will definitely be coming back.

Rude staff member at this particular restaurant, we let him know that some of the items we purchased were missing then he stated oh well not fully listening to what we were saying and hung up the phone. This was the worst experience I have ever had over something so simple and paid in full for. I hope he gets some help before he runs off more customers.

Spent my birthday here last night with my family and it was an amazing dinner. I grew up going to the one in Gastonia since I was a young girl and now moved to Charlotte and found this gem! Anytime we want to treat ourselves to dinner Portofinos is always the place for us! Amazing food, great service and my favorite Italian restaurant in Charlotte! 10/10!! Thank you guys!

Go to this location a lot. I like the bolognese with spaghetti. Pizzas are always great and you have to get the garlic balls!
