I travel to Charlotte a few times a month and Ann is the sweetest and has the best costumer service there is. I don’t skip potbelly’s when In this airport.
You can tell the employees are not thrilled to be at their job. Not polite at all. No milkshake cups, no milkshake lids, no chocolate for milkshakes, no cookie for milkshakes. I asked for no lettuce or hot peppers. I got a sandwich with lettuce and hot peppers.
First time trying potbelly. It was delicious. The hot peppers do have a kick to them!
All 5 stars go to Ann from Trinidad purely because of her consistent performance and behavior.
I stop at this Potbelly’s, frequently along with other restaurants in CLT, however, Ann has consistently shown to be a class act with her top-tier customer service and communication skills. Her emotional intelligence in understanding her customer is what caught my attention. Whether it’s a mom with crying kids, a foreigner whose English is subpar or an elderly couple, I have noticed her ability to handle each of these customers respectfully with empathy, kindness and patience, AND STILL get the orders taken efficiently and keep the line moving. And lastly, her SMILE. It is so welcoming. I don’t think people understand how important and powerful a smile is and how it can help define a person’s dining experience. But Ann gets it! Btw, I noticed no one else was smiling, but it didn’t matter cause her smile was more than enough. Oh yeah, the food was good, too.
I had to ask for recommendations and Miss Ann was most helpful and what she recommended was so good.
I just threw away a 25 dollar sandwich when I was REALLY hungry. It was cold and disgusting. Don't eat here.
Delicious salad, although a bit pricey at $16.89.
My killer experience was the 80s music being piped in to the food court, made me want to grab a microphone and jump on a table!!!
I was at a layover heading back to VA. After going back and forth between the few eateries in this area of the airport, I decided on Potbelly. The staff were generally interactive and receptive to my hunger induced foolishness. 😆 I ordered the Mediterranean sub and was not disappointed. I will say they were a tad skimpy on many of the toppings but overall it was really good. But IF you're calling it 'potbelly'... Then put the Pot in the Belly! 😏 Could it have been because I was starving? 🤷🏽♀️ Well I'll say I've had some meals when really hungry and they were still trash. I do wish they had a better combo deal; I had to go over to Bojangles for fries. All in all... It was a good sub.
It's a overpriced sandwich. Of course it's in an airport, so they can stick it to you without recourse. You can tell the employees DO NOT want to be here!

Best sandwich shop in the airport. Black owned. The salads are amazing and pairs well with the broccoli cheddar soup. One of the best restaurants in the airport.

Stay away from this disgusting establishment. All three of us got food poisoning here, customer service was terrible, employees were unwilling to answer basic questions. Nothing like getting sick after spending a great week in Tuscany.

Ordered the POWERHOUSE specifically because this salad came with avocado, instead my salad came with hummus, eggs, tomatoes, cucumber and salad. NO
