I've stopped in to Captain Jack's Tavern several times while waiting for a flight. If you are looking for anything other than a drink and a few snack options, keep walking. I ordered a spicy bloody mary and was not disappointed. My drink had the kick I was looking for to keep me going. Sat here for 2.5 hours between flights. The Munzlers Vienna Lager is fantastic! The 2 different bartenders were both super fast and friendly. If I'm ever in this airport again I will return.

If you like craft beer, this is a great corner of Terminal E in the Charlotte airport. Part of Old Mecklenburg Brewery which I learned is the oldest in Charlotte. Bartender, maybe owner, was great to talk to. He's a bit deluded that the Eagles should've won the last Super Bowl, but the Chiefs won...so that's OK :).
