I got a pep slice at the airport while on a layover. Man oh man. It’s $11.99 for a slice. The price is in fact ridiculous but it was sooooo good. I spent $28 and some change on a slice, an Evian water, and a fruit cup.

The pizza prices are wild but if you want something filling and fast, and it's okay if it's a bit unhealthy, the stromboli here is probably one of the better options at CLT

I have worked at the CLT airport (among others) and this is one of the best food options if you are short on time. Large slices of pizza are tasty and filling. Meatball subs are also good. It’s expensive for sure, but everywhere is nowadays (especially at the airport). Many CLT restaurants close early, but PZA is usually open late.
