Red Ginger japanese steakhouse and sushi

Thank you to one of the managers Chasity for making my order correct and providing outstanding customer service.

I went to the bar for the sake and a draft special. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was early and no one seated yet but Val✨ the bartender was great company. I had hot sake and it was perfect. he sake I have photographed is cold and one of the bartenders fave if you’re looking to try something new.

Good place to go with family and friends.

Good food but awful service. Went here the other night with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday party. Our server was barely even at our table and when she was she was very rude and acted as if we were a bother. Will not be back again.

Ok food, fair price, disappointed that there wasn't a kids menu or an alternative,

The man at the stove was not energetic, he was just looking at us, and the food wasn’t THAT good.

My husband and I came here for the all you can eat sushi special. It is one of those where you must finish all the sushi + plates you order or they will charge you.

You also have about an 1hr and half I believe to eat there for the all you can eat special. Honestly, the overall sushi quality was pretty good for the all you can eat special. It’s obviously not the best quality sushi you will have in your life, BUT it definitely is still delicious and is not poorly made at all.

I think for the price of it too you just can’t beat it especially in the downtown area. I say you should definitely bring a date here and try it out yourself. I’d come back again for their sushi! 8/10 recommend.

Had reservations, restaurant overbooked table causing us to wait at the table for an hour before the cook showed up. Then the cook proceeded to burn the egg, drenched it in soy sauce to try and cover up the burnt taste, overcooked chicken and shrimp and the noodles were pitiful. The small amount of veggies given was super sad. And then to top it off they force you to leave a tip of 20%. Which was not earned. Japanese takeout is better than this. You’re paying to be in downtown Charlotte..

We have been patrons of Red Ginger for years, it’s the best hibachi in Charlotte and we’ve always loved it! However, last week we visited for the first time as parents and we were beyond disappointed to discover that there are NO changing stations in the restaurant. We had to leave, go to the parking garage, change our baby in our car, then come back in. I was not going to lay my baby on the bathroom floor, even on our own diaper pad. Gross. I really hope they strongly consider adding stations to both men and women’s restrooms to make this restaurant truly family friendly.

Kid-friendliness: No changing stations for babies.

Absolute trash food. I got the habachi and me and the person I was with both thought it was terrible. Would give it zero stars if I could. The sushi was pretty good.

Also cost $93 for two hibachi dinners 1 Philly roll and just waters.

I just spent $35 on food that I never got to eat because they piled it in a bag and it ripped the entire thing. Then I noticed the order was wrong and not what originally in the first place. This was damn waste and they didn’t give a damn either

The sanitation issues describe it all. Walked away before we were carried away in an ambulance. Read the report for yourself and you will see it's REPEATED violations.
