Riccio's Italian Restaurant Reviews
coming out of bklyn/ny in 2010 we were going over to a few Italian restaurants. I know the food is not as good as N Y. BUT why is riccio's food portions smaller and pricerer then portofino in my opinion?
My husband and I love Riccio's! On one of our first visits, the owner came over and introduced himself, which is always a nice gesture. We've had the same waitress every time, who is very knowledgeable and very helpful! I have to admit that I have never ordered anything other than the Manicotti (5+ times in a row)... because it's so good! Riccio's Italian Restaurant was a family-owned spot known for its cozy atmosphere and welcoming servers, with the owner always present. The food was consistently delicious, with favorites like chicken Marsala and garlic knots. It was a hidden gem offering elegant surroundings and the best NY style Italian pizza in Charlotte. Portions were plentiful and perfect for leftovers. Parking was easy with many free spots in front. The restaurant was a popular choice for dates and family outings, and the staff was known for being very friendly. Unfortunately, Riccio's has now permanently closed after serving the community for over 60 years.
