I tried out Rice and Spice since I had seen many recommendations about it. I ordered the pad see ew and it was SOOOOOOO dang salty!!!! Oh my gosh, I was literally pouring water from my cup onto the noodles to salvage it. And the tofu was really hard and tough to chew… I couldn’t even finish it. Maybe Rice and Spice is good for other thai things but absolutely not pad see ew. Plus they used thin rice noodles (which I am a firm believer noodles shape affects taste) If I’m getting pad see ew, Im gonna go to Thai House instead!!

Best restaurant ever
Favorite pad Thai 🩷
We’re frequent diners here. Unfortunately it’s one little thing that has made us decide to go elsewhere going forward - being charged for some sweet chili sauce to have with my $20 fried rice (to go order). We’re spending over $40 and can’t have a single tiny sized cup of sauce to go?
We’ll slide on over to Akahana.

Visiting from Texas and so glad we found this gem! My husband is a huge Thai food lover, so I searched for a spot while we were in town—and Rice and Spice Thai did not disappoint. I had the drunken noodles with chicken and he had the fried rice with beef and chicken—both were absolutely delicious. Super flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. On top of that, the service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Best Thai food I've had in Charlotte and service was excellent
I would have given 6/5 if I could!
First of all, they have a vegan menu. We ordered 4 different dishes and each and every one of those was SO DAMN TASTY! 😍🤤 The flavors the spice omg !! And the waitresses were so sweet and helpful with the ordering. Very quick service. Great portions.

Service was very fast and efficient. Our waiter was very nice.
This place is NOT vegan. Rude staff answering the phones and they also mistakenly label things as vegan. I ordered the veggie spring rolls once and they put shrimp in them. Don’t eat here if you want to to stick to your dietary restrictions
Excellent red curry, Basil Fried Rice and Drunken noodles. Great service and nice atmosphere. Come hungry.
Treated myself to chicken pad Thai. Keep in mind medium might make your nose run a lil bit. Very good though. Nina was kind, and kept my water full.
My new favorite Thai restaurant spot in Charlotte it is so delicious and so spicy, and I got go many vegetarian options that were so filling.
