Have been coming here for years… Service has always been excellent and the atmosphere is elegant yet cozy. I usually get the short ribs, one of my favorites at Roosters, but the portion sizes this time seemed smaller. Great selection of draft beers.

Had the rooster believing it was the special of the house. It came pink inside and I asked to send it back to the kitchen for cooking it more. Came back, same looking. I was expecting something better from a restaurant that prouds itself with rooster wood fire in the name and delivers meat not on point.

We went to try their weekend brunch. Service was above par and everyone including the hostess, our server and the duty managers were welcoming & gracious. Food was somewhere between average and better. We tried the Beignets to start with. They were fluffy but lacked consistency. The strawberry jam that came with it tasted better than it looked. For the main course we had the eggs benedict and the avocado tartine with smoked salmon along with sides of onion rings and pomme frites. Eggs benedict & Avocado tartine were average. Smoked salmon on the tartine was mashed and hence lost the texture and taste. The fries were a bit of a letdown as they were soggy. The atmosphere is casual and not too noisy.

Went with a small 6-8 person work group on a Tuesday night. When we finally got our food, it was great, and they had a wide variety of items to choose from, but the wait was excessive. The decor was very interesting, from wild boar heads on some walls, to a large, dry fountain in the middle passage between 2 dining rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful

The food was very good. Portion sizes were smaller than expected for the price. Hanger steak did not come with any sides. Their selection of steaks is very limited. The server was friendly but not attentive. The food took longer than expected to be served. The restaurant was not crowded; therefore, the customer service should have been better.

My son and I went here for a late lunch. Overall, the food was good. We ordered the onion soup and the tomatoes bisque..delicious. we also ordered the lamb meatballs. However, it did not have much flavor at all. They were very bland. For our main dish, I had the scallops, and my son had the short rib. Overall, the dishes were good, but portions could have been a little larger, especially the scallops.

Unfortunately, this was a swing and a miss. My family originally tried the location in charlotte, had the best experience, came to this location a few months ago raved about the BEST pizza and Juicy Chicken and delicious Mac and Cheese.
We arrived at 7:15 didn’t get our entrees until 8pm, Parents were disappointed they are no longer serving Pizza. So we tried many dishes, spent nearly $300.00 with tip. Out of the 10 Dishes we would recommend: lamb meatballs, Mac and Cheese and the Corn.
The tile fish was overcooked, no flavor came with potatoes and greens, unfortunately nothing to be excited about.
The hanger steak, ordered medium rare, in liquid. No flavor. No salt, no pepper not even butter. I was excited about this one for all the previous reviews. My steak felt like an afterthought.
We had to order a chicken since my mother couldn’t eat the fish. And how do you get chicken wrong. They have ordered the chicken three times previously in both locations and it was amazing. I do not know what was happening tonight but they locked away the seasonings, maybe brought it to the new location. Nothing. All natural quarter chicken. In turkey gravy, not the clear drippings sauce like before. Skin was soggy.
Thank goodness for Mac and cheese. So flavorful,
Lamb meatballs had a beautiful dill sauce, so delicious.
Hope they revert back to the original seasonings.

Rotisserie chicken and pork loin were both very average. Not what you expect at these prices. Overpriced desserts were below average. Service was fine. We were seated in the Pavilion hallway, which wasn’t as nice, or as warm, as in the main dining room. Not impressed.
