SAMBAZON Açaí Bowls Charlotte Douglas International Airport

I asked an employee whether the chocolate PB bowl was vegan or not, and she responded that it was organic, and then said that it wasn't vegan because the granola has gluten in it. I clarified that what I was asking about was if there was honey or dairy in the bowl and she was extremely rude and asked why I was asking her. Another employee said the bowl was vegan but who knows? 🤷‍♀️ Very limited options in the airport so I got the bowl but was very underwhelmed with my experience.

Got a regular sized protein acai bowl. The toppings tasted fresh and I was glad they gave me a replacement topping when they were out of cacao nibs. The regular is large enough that you will feel stuffed for one person eating it, my only thought was that there wasn't enough acai/yogurt compared to the amount of toppings. Near the end it feels like you're just eating granola. Nice service, nice taste. Feels healthy for airport food

The girl with the blond tips in her hair is so rude! I don’t understand why people get jobs in public places if they don’t want to work

Slowest service and chronically understaffed. Needed at least 1-2 other staff members for the demand. Wouldn’t dispense a completed bowl without waiting for the other server to take 10 minutes to finish the smoothie. Oh, and the “bowl” was crammed to the brim into a takeaway container. How am I meant to mix that all up and eat it without spilling it everywhere?! It’s an airport - I was in a hurry, everyone’s in a hurry and would prefer not to eat highly processed junk. Your human-replacing kiosk also didn’t work seamlessly so people had to order manually. Get it right! Staff up appropriately, get the right technology …. and if airports are too hard to staff or their rent is too high, then don’t franchise to HMSHost and these other ballpark hotdog catering companies and stop diluting your brand — unless of course you’re about to sell to PE and don’t GAF …!

As avid travelers, we frequent the Charlotte Airport 2-3 times a month. Customer service has never been an issue at any establishment until now. We encountered Diamond; a woman who displayed an attitude when posed with a question about the bowls. She half answered and was walking away as she was speaking. She let my husband and I know that, "I don't eat none of this stuff". She could have advised us of the best seller/customer favorite instead of providing this response. She also carried on a full conversation with her coworker while making the bowl. It's very rude to stop fixing the bowl to interact with a coworker about something that wasn't work related. Diamond definitely is not an asset to your company.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with the Caí bowl stand at Charlotte Airport. The worker, who was using the same gloves to clean the floor, was going then proceeded to prepare orders without changing them. When I questioned about my order because they skipped it entirely , they provided a series of excuses instead of addressing the reality of their mistakes.

To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, they only refunded the price of the bowl and not the tip I had included. When I brought this up, the staff member rudely told me that it was my problem for leaving a tip in the first place. They will be the reason I’ll never tip in my life.

This level of service is unacceptable, especially in an airport where cleanliness and customer satisfaction should be top priorities. I strongly advise against purchasing from this stand until significant improvements are made.

Being away from my Caribbean home i longed for the sweet taste of home. Needed something healthy and so... I decided to try Coconut Mango Sambazon Acai Bowl at CLT - Sambazon 209 Avenida Gabricante North Carolina.I was surprisingly not disappointed. I loved it so much i recommended it to another customer. Thumbs up guys.

The food is good but they are ALWAYS out of something important. I come approximately once every 3 weeks, this week they are out of large bowls. How much money is lost daily due to the incompetent ordering manager. Customer service is also very lacking.

It’s like they hired any body that was looking for a job, got a bunch of frozen ingredients, and told them to scoop one of each item in a recipe and don’t look at the customer.The pictures they post definitely don’t match what you get by any stretch of the imagination.
