I ordered fry fish in a pita, they are kind to accommodate my order to replace bun with a pita.I haven’t been dining at Showmars for several years, finally got a chance. The onion ring is good, crispy. Fish is kind of plain, not as good as I remembered. Compare with the Showmars was located in Hearst Building, which was closed years ago, I prefer that location. Still, recalled my good memories.

I got the flounder dinner and the size of my flounder was the size of a perch fish. Not worth the money
Food and service are generally good at this location. There is one issue that management needs to address: I have noticed with my last two visits that cooks wearing rubber gloves are using their cellphones while preparing the food. So all the germs on their phones could be transferred to my order.

All Showmars are not created equally. I ordered the broccoli cheese soup, which i have gotten at other locations and enjoyed. Not the case here. The soup was very bitter and way way to thick. Instead of a nice bowl, it was served it a small paper ice cream tpye bowl. I it was no way near as much as the Mint hill location. Same price. I d I'd order a bowl, not a cup.

A little disappointed! Walked in was greeted with a warm smile and a hello. After ordering my food I asked for extra tartar sauce and ketchup. She said okay . The food comes after waiting over 20minutes with no condiments. I asked for 2 tartar sauce and some packs of ketchup. Was told it would be extra charge for tarter. When I went to register to get it because the waiter didn’t bring it back to the table. She told me the cashier was getting it. She gave it to me with one tartar when I asked for another she told I already got tartar on my sandwich and it will be a charge for another one. We going back and forth over 1 additional tartar sauce (the cashier) she had the nerve to tell me “next time it will be a charge”Well it may not be a next time at this location. Besides if it was a charge she should’ve told me when I order. Not to mention my food is cold by itself his time. No one returned to ask if we need refills or anything while serving the other table in our section where we were seated. I have a whole lot of thoughts????
