I’ve noticed New York Diner for years but only recently decided to give it a try — and I’m glad I did. It’s quickly become my go-to breakfast spot. The food is always fresh and delicious; the breakfast sandwiches are great, and the omelettes are my new favorite. Prices are fair, and everything is consistently good. A solid local diner I now look forward to visiting in the mornings.

I ordered chicken alfredo on the lunch menu to go. There is an extra charge for anything other than chicken and pasta w sauce. I added mushrooms & spinach. My bill for a this lunch was $17.87. The portion amount for the chicken and vegetables were disappointing. It was mostly pasta which costs about $1.00 for the amount I had. This is a dinner with a few booths on Albemarle Rd. in Charlotte. They will never get my business again.

They put Pork in my Shrimps and I haven't eaten pork in over 25 years.The put bacon in shrimp.and grits.The manager and an attitude when I called and told them about the pork in my shrimp.Ill never go back here....

My order was over 35.00 order and only my second time ordering and again the order was incorrect and when I called I got yelled at by the manager and was told at first it would be remade upon arriving the manager was confrontational and told me it was my problem for not knowing what was in it I explained because of religion and beliefs I couldn't eat it she then said oh well and used profanity and refused to remake or give me my money back not to mention there was hair in my grits and other food was cold
This is great place to eat. I like there shrimp and grits, french fries. They are so good. The staff are so nice and friendly.

The portion of corn beef hash is so small.I will never order corn beef hash from them again. My breakfast was $16 because I ordered sausage patties as well.but for almost $20 the portion of home fries and corn beef especially is terrible.I will stick to getting my corn beef hash from landmark diner or midnight diner!

The food is always a 10/10. But the service is terrible & the employees are messy . Especially the heavy set kinda tall female waiter with the glasses she was very rude . I needed a both being that I had a party of 4 & a car seat once I seen it wasn’t going to work where we was seated I asked to do Togo after that she had a attitude. She didn’t even drop off my check or check on my table/give us our drinks opposed to the tables besides us . But yes takeout is your best bet! & she didn’t add our home fries as requested but luckily they were covered .
