I ordered chicken alfredo on the lunch menu to go. There is an extra charge for anything other than chicken and pasta w sauce. I added mushrooms & spinach. My bill for a this lunch was $17.87. The portion amount for the chicken and vegetables were disappointing. It was mostly pasta which costs about $1.00 for the amount I had. This is a dinner with a few booths on Albemarle Rd. in Charlotte. They will never get my business again.

They put Pork in my Shrimps and I haven't eaten pork in over 25 years.The put bacon in shrimp.and grits.The manager and an attitude when I called and told them about the pork in my shrimp.Ill never go back here....

My order was over 35.00 order and only my second time ordering and again the order was incorrect and when I called I got yelled at by the manager and was told at first it would be remade upon arriving the manager was confrontational and told me it was my problem for not knowing what was in it I explained because of religion and beliefs I couldn't eat it she then said oh well and used profanity and refused to remake or give me my money back not to mention there was hair in my grits and other food was cold

The portion of corn beef hash is so small.I will never order corn beef hash from them again. My breakfast was $16 because I ordered sausage patties as well.but for almost $20 the portion of home fries and corn beef especially is terrible.I will stick to getting my corn beef hash from landmark diner or midnight diner!

The food is always a 10/10. But the service is terrible & the employees are messy . Especially the heavy set kinda tall female waiter with the glasses she was very rude . I needed a both being that I had a party of 4 & a car seat once I seen it wasnât going to work where we was seated I asked to do Togo after that she had a attitude. She didnât even drop off my check or check on my table/give us our drinks opposed to the tables besides us . But yes takeout is your best bet! & she didnât add our home fries as requested but luckily they were covered .

It was our first time dining here, and It was the waiters first day on the job, so she was not too familiar with the menu, therefore she had to go to the back a few times to clarify what was added with the meals since it wasnât stated on the menu. I ordered the shrimp and grits and forgot to tell the waitress no bacon since we donât eat pork, When our meals arrived, there was so much bacon mixed in that I was unable to take it out myself, so I asked if I could get another order of the shrimp and grits without the bacon, and I did apologize. The waitress said OK like it was not a problem, went to the back once again and five minutes later I guess it was the manager that came out, she was a heavy set rude lady saying that she was not going to make another order and it was up to us to read the menu to know what we want to order⊠With that being said, we asked for the check and left!!! Iâve never been to a restaurant where youâve made a mistake and they did not help you out . As far as the food is concerned, Iâve had better and the hash browns were extremely dryâŠThe place was freezing cold and so was the managerâs attitude! I would not recommend PERIODDT!
Our waitress was exceedingly kind and attentive. The food was serviceable - nothing was inedible but there are so many great breakfast options in Charlotte.

I just ordered a hamburger with fries, it was not fresh, a frozen patty and no seasonings the fries were greasy and old oil. The milkshake was too runny. I'm sure if they used fresh ingredients this place would pop.

No frills diner with simple yet tasty food. I did a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll with a side of home fries and my fiancé had the french toast platter. The taste definitely reminded me of the breakfast sandwiches I would get at the bodegas in NY/NJ. I will definitely be coming back as service was fast and coffee was good!
