Ambiance and service was excellent. I loved the rustic decor riddled with fall decorations. The food was pretty good, not great. I wasn't upset because the hostess and waiter were so accommodating and nice. We will return.
The food was amazing. Crabcakes, redfish, jambalaya, and key lime pie! What more could you ask for? My husband is Creole, and he felt the food was as close to home as possible. Justin, our server was friendly and professional. We are already planning when we will go back to try more if the menu.
Rice was bland and taste hidden in chicken by Hughes hit of salt in the otherwise tasty flounder but there was bones The collard's were absolutely abysmal Stems sticks under cooked Definitely need a southern education on collards. The cornbread was ok; a bit heavy with the honey making it dense but at least it was a sweet cornbread- attempt Tamales were grainy little to no pork taste but the mushroom sauce was very nice. Average on taste with an extremely small portion shrimp...
