Place half empty at 8am on a busy Wednesday, no host/hostess present - one server who tells you to wait to be seated by the host/hostess — who is not there :-)

3/30/24. Place is an absolute joke! The bartender (a black female, not sure the name because she had no respect to turn and converse like a professional) but ensured she had a complete attitude. Like who hired her and why do you employ someone as rude as her?She said they were closing in 30 minutes but you can order anything you want as long as you do it within the next 15 minutes. We asked to start with a water and her response was “you only have 15 minutes left to order so I’ll be back and let you think about it while I’m gone“. Another theme at the Charlotte airport where the workers only care about themselves and about getting out of work in the dot. We put everything away and clean while you are patronizing our establishment so you feel rushed to leave so we can too as soon as we close.I try to avoid the Charlotte airport at all cost. It’s constant flight delays, poor service , and extremely rude people; unfortunately this visit was unavoidable.

I always love a Celiac -friendly sit down meal in an airport! Summerhouse is great with gluten-free needs and precautions.I usually get the chicken tacos with chips instead of tortillas, and I ask for a bowl and extra guacamole to help with assembly. Pictures here are how it comes and how I assemble it.The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Super grateful for a real meal between flights instead of just snacks! Highly recommend if you're in the Charlotte Airport and need a gluten free meal.

Food was served quickly, quality was fine. Alicia at the bar is great. Friendly, attentive, and working hard. Even offered her opinion about two wines, which is more than I’d expect for airport dining. She’s the reason I’m taking time to leave a review and why I’d get food here again when I pass through CLT.

I had a cheeseburger, fries, and a prosecco. The bartender was busy, but she was friendly. The food was good!

These two tables were dirty throughout my visit, she preferred to sit at the bar instead of cleaning the tables, she was sitting there for 40 minutes just looking at the phone.

Avoid this establishment at all costs. Incredibly rude staff and horrendous customer service. Walked in to sit at bar and spend money, bar chair was turned around, began turning bar chair around and was immediately yelled at by not only the rude bartender woman, but another customer already sitting at the bar. “What’s the matter, you can’t read the sign” they yelled belligerently. I asked “excuse me, what did you say?” The disgusting bartender woman then replied “do you have a problem?” To which I replied, “No, do you have a problem?” She then said “No, have a good night” Needless to say I immediately decided NOT TO SPEND MONEY THERE. I can’t imagine hating your job so much you’re not only turning bar guests away from a bar that’s only 1/4 occupied but doing so, which such a disgusting and unwelcoming attitude. Whoever the hiring manager is here has made some serious mistakes and oversights in their hiring decisions. Avoid this place at all costs. Note the bar chairs turned around. That’s the method this place uses to ensure they LIMIT the amount of work the bartender has to do. Pathetic.

Pretty good airport restaurant.Stopped here for breakfast on a return from spring break. Super nice server. All the menu items were not available but most of breakfast was. Food was quick and decent. Coffee was really good for an airport. In concourse B I'd recommend this place for breakfast over the other choices.

Good for “Airport standard”. Not a lot of choices in the menu. I ordered the Cobb salad and it came in a messy shape, not as seen in the pictures. But tasted good. I ordered chicken with it, which was tasty, but later noticed the salad did not have bacon. They did not charge me for the chicken at the end.The tots tasted good but were a bit heavy. But I liked the fact that the service was pretty fast and the waitress was friendly.

Avoid! It looks bright and promising as you walk past in search of your B gate at CLT, but service is amazingly rude, and a cocktail is $24.00 (ridiculous even for airport standards). Don't even think of asking for a table unless you are a party of 4. Tables are obviously open, but the staff are apparently waiting for a crowd to show up (which never did materialize while I was there). Decided to skip the overpriced entrees and more abuse, as I advise you to do!

Bartender with tattoos on her neck is incredibly rude. We just sat down and she immediately made rude comments to us. She wiped the previous patron’s crumbs in our direction and blamed us for being in the way. Safe to say we left. Really horrible service.

Open for cookies and muffin pickup and bottles of water.Does not make breakfast available until 7am, no signage and no proactive notice from teller. Full airport, no available foods.

It took them over 40 minutes to make a simple taco order. Not worth the wait.
