Nastiest Jamaican food I’ve ever had! Rice and peas taste like regular white rice with a can of beans, the jerk chicken horrible! Cabbage horrible, Mac and cheese horrible. I literally want to cry because it was a waste of $80 just disgusting!!!!! I’m so disappointed. Recommend irie nation for sure, I wish I would’ve Stuck to them and not tried something new.

Man this place can’t have repeat customers , no pride in taste, second time I tried this will be the last, clearly not a Jamaican cook , terrible, oxtail was too salty, , server was cold but that I don’t care, about,

Didn’t even get a chance to order. The older woman that works there has the most unpleasant attitude a person can have at an establishment. I was told by other patrons that this was her norm. Being a first time visitor from outside the area, this was not a good fit for me. I asked about another Jamaican restaurant within the area and went to visit there.

Food was underseasoned and the rice was watery. Chicken was dry with minimal flavor, and this is coming from a Jamaican. To add insult to injury the woman who took my order was sarcastic with me for no reason when I asked where’s the menu (was expecting a wall menu my bad!) I almost waked out, never again!

The rice and beans were good. The chicken didn’t have any sauce on it I had t ask for a cu of sauce which wasn’t much at all. The greens had a bland taste to them like they wasn’t season enough. The macaroni was horrible it had a funky taste.

The food and price is just as bad as the service and attitude I have to deal with once a year. Cause I walk in and walk RIGHT BACK OUT!!!! These can’t be the same people that opened this establishment years ago from NY! Maybe next year we will try again✌?

Went in for lunch wanted to try them for a while. I walked in straight to the rest room and the lady running the place shouted “are you buying anything?” I was dressed for work and didn’t expect to be treated like a wino. I replied that I was there for lunch so was admitted to come in. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas. The food was obviously not fresh it tasted like leftovers from a day or two before. Huge disappointment. Love Jamaican but forget this place if you want good food and to be treated like a customer. $20 for lunch so not a bargain either. Big pass on this lousy place.

I doubt this is an authentic Jamaican restaurant. Akceee & saltfish…salty. Grilled jerk chicken…soft. Rice & peas…could’ve been better. Cheese on salad…few mold pieces. Lady who takes orders…poor customer service. My family and I won’t be returning. On the other hand, the restaurant is cute and clean.

When I discovered Jerk Joint more than three years ago, I was very excited about trying them. My husband and I tried the Jerk Chicken dinner that comes with rice/peas, plantains, and the two sides we chose were mac and cheese and collard greens. Let me just say that EVERYTHING was sooooo delicious, flavorful and all of the above!!! I wouldn't suggest another Jamaican eatery at that time. Jerk Joint became our "go to" spot for Jamaican food. Now for the not so good review..... We ate here a few months ago, and was so disappointed to say the least. Nothing tasted the same. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back a few weeks ago, and the food was not good at all. The spiciness wasn't there, watered down greens and terrible mac and cheese. They used to add plantains to the dinner, and now they don't do that. We'll, at least we didn't have them with our order. It's almost like they don't have the same cooks or something. What happened?????? I notice that the rating has gone down as well. I'd love to give you continued business, but can't now.

Horrible customer service the girl that works in the front acts like you owe her something. very rude, the only person that can cook there is guy that goes by uncle. They don’t even bother to marinate the jerk chicken taste like they threw the sauce on when you ordered it. Smallest portion of oxtails I have ever seen. Please don’t waste you money at this establishment you will regret it.
