The Public House Reviews
NO FAIR WARNING!!!
2 couples in town for panthers game. We chose a place close to stadium and upon arrival we’re told we wouldnt be able to be accommodated due to too busy/understaffed. My partner did some research and found public house. Close, nice atmosphere, nice menu, decent prices, so we headed there!
Upon arrival the restaurant was not as busy as expected, we thought that would be a positive….

Terrible bartenders with no personality.
Don’t order the food. Worst I’ve had on this planet in my 52 years and the Manager didn’t care one bit. I had to spit out my first bite it was so bad. Kids ordered the nachos and those were also terrible. Asked for the manager to have a conversation and he ignored us until I approached him. Horrible customer service. Manager wouldn’t listen at all. Enter at your own risk. Might be an ok dive bar but nothing more.

The Public House is a restaurant that offers excellent ambiance and a varied selection of dishes. Diners praise the Ahi Tuna, Chicken sandwich, and Salmon, with the orange salmon being described as absolutely excellent and some of the best seasoned salmon ever had. The steak is also noted for its incredible texture, though one diner found it a little heavy on the seasoning. The house made chips are very good, and the beer selection is great. The Public House has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the outside bar seating is liked. Additionally, the restaurant can handle food allergies well, ensuring a good experience for larger groups. However, vegetarian options are limited and may not meet expectations. Handhelds are available, but fries are a separate charge. Service quality can be inconsistent, though many guests have commented on the fantastic service. The seasonal martini, especially the pumpkin spice espresso martini, is highly recommended, and the mac and cheese has been noted as phenomenal. If someone is in the area and unsure of what to have for dinner, they cannot go wrong here.
