My husband had left his wallet at home when he went to pick up our food, Upon arriving, he learned that he could not pay for our food without having the physical card on him. (The one that we were going to pay with doesn’t have the ability to be added to his phone wallet)
We were excited to try Tokyo One Express, However, we couldn’t because you have to physically pay for the food at the location. You can’t even pay over the phone. They said they have a “tap only” POS. I’ve never heard of a tap only without being able to override it to so you can physically type in the card number.

The portions are generous, the price is good and the food is decent. Not the best, not the worst. We ordered the steak Tokyo noodles and hibachi steak. The service and staff were wonderful.

Food is bland, chicken comes out white, unseasoned and dry. However, if you want to eat inside, you aren’t allowed to share food or drinks. I don’t understand how a business thinks they can tell you that you can’t share food or drinks that you paid for!

Love the staff, but the food was very undercooked! Chicken was white and vegetables were still raw! Please take your time and cook food throughly!
It was delicious food and the two ladies working there were so sweet! We called our order in early because we needed to make it to the movie and they were so very helpful and kind

Ordered teriyaki chicken & broccoli which wasn't grilled and very disappointing in taste, there was a pool of sauce which is unusual for this type of dish. The chicken and broccoli were both pre-steamed or cooked and I can only imagine was quickly pan cooked with sauce when ordered.
The chicken was very soft but otherwise lacked flavor which cannot be cooked into the food without proper grilling at high temp. The rice and carrots were okay and the shrimp sauce a bit too fluid for preference.
Employees were very nice and pleasant. If you enjoy the food this is a great place and very casual and friendly. Just not for me.

Tastes like chicken was boiled. Completely white when i got it, not seared on the grill at all. Steak was grey and chewy.
