Tropical Smoothie Cafe

The food was standard for Tropical Smoothie. The girl at the counter needs to listen better, perhaps if you repeat the order to the customer, you will accurately know they got what they wanted, just a thought in customer service smh. 3 out of 4 of us were happy, had no time to jump to the back of the line smh!

Ordered a bowl with Nutella through the app. I called to get a replacement being that I live about 40 minutes away not including traffic and the young lady said I could come the next day for a bowl so I called the next day letting them know I’m on my way and Iyana the “crew lead” refused to give me the replacement bowl saying I could just get a refund. I payed $12 I should be able to get what I want without the “crew lead” Iyana telling me what I can receive.

I am a regular customer of this business. I never encountered challenges until today. On 12/12/24, I placed a mobile order for pickup at 7:00 pm. Upon arrival at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, I was told that my order was not in the system. I showed the staff, Ayanna, my mobile receipt, she looked at it and walked away. No feedback was provided. I waited for 15 minutes and enquired into the status of my order. Ayanna stated that she cannot make the order. I once again showed her my confirmation receipt. Ayanna and the other two females in the store ignored me, they were laughing and giggling amongst themselves. I left the store without my order. Based on this experience, I will no longer be supporting this business, and I will encourage my family and friends to do the same.

I doordash at this location often, so when I noticed the vegan protein options get added to the menu I felt the infinite love of the universe bc I had not eaten my beloved buffalo chicken wrap from here in a very long time.?
I’ve been back 3 days in a row since and should probably chill.

They closed early and put everything away before 8p.m on Sunday and said she was sore but not really. Management needs to reprimand their staff for closing before time and using the excuse of " we already put stuff away". We'll go to the back and get it!! No I wasn't rude.

Best Tropical smoothie in CLT. Top tier service every time. Food always fresh and good! If something is wrong they will fix it immediately.

Happy hour and a midday happy hour and they don’t do it and they claim tropical smoothie Café does not do it but the one up in Mount Holly does it matter fact every location does it.
I think due to the ethnicity of the management or the owner they are denying certain things

If you get the chicken salad get ready to get skimped on the chicken

Since I personally didn't get anything I can't give the food a rating. However, I ran into my beautiful cousins and we decided to go inside Tropical Smoothie to get out the sun and for they can get a smoothie. They absolutely love smoothie king. These are two of their favorite flavors, blueberry bliss (tall) and lime berry (small). Looks really good. Nice atmosphere and great customer service.

I would recommend STAYING AWAY from this business. I have not eaten the food, looks gross but I have been in this restaurant picking up orders for Door Dash and they are very unprofessional, rude and lack basic skills to run a eatery. I wouldn’t ever spend a dime in this place and suggest you do the same.. if they are rude to the customers and partners I can only imagine the lack of care for the food. STAY AWAY!!!!
