I love this place. Today was a one off. I ordered what I always do. 12 oz. Latte w macadamia milk and caramel. My total is usually $6 and some change but today it was almost $8. No idea why. Secondly the barista made my coffee so damn hot… I couldn’t even drink it. Even still after 40 minutes of ordering it I can’t drink it bc it’s still PIPING hot. I nearly scalded my mouth trying to take a small sip. Kinda neglectful. I’ll return, but maybe not to this location anymore.

The baristas are incredibly friendly and kind. I’m very picky when it comes to my drinks and their London fog is my favorite in all of Charlotte. All of their loose leaf tea is brewed to order. It may take a few minutes to get your tea, but the wait is absolutely worth it.

Awesome coffee spot in the middle of shopping center. Grabbed a flight which was really cool because of the espresso variety. Never seen that before but I also don’t grab coffee that often. Anyways highly recommend, my favorite was Timeless. The croissant sandwiches were warm and delicious.

Most expensive cup of wierd tasting black water I've ever had. She said it was fresh drip coffee, but no, if this is what passes for customer service and coffee in Charlotte its sad.

I’m pretty patient as I waitressed for years when younger. I understand we all have bad days, and I don’t believe customers are always right. But this was uncomfortable.3 young ladies working the morning I was there.I was there Sunday morning and two young ladies were friendly and helpful. But there was one who took my order who was rather impatient and short in her tone. But I let it pass, thinking “maybe she is tired, it is early’But then later I observed she was behind counter reading a book while customers lined up. Fortunately the other young ladies stepped up to help and then she jumped in. She really seemed annoyed at the presence of customers to the point of feeling uncomfortable when she snapped out that your order was ready.Place is very pleasant and coffee good. I’m always looking for some place for a good cup of coffee, Starbucks is not my thing. But customers should net feel unwanted or an inconvenience.

I understand that service may be slower as they were training, but they completely forgot half my order along with someone else's. Once I asked they made it quickly but didn't announce when it was done. The espresso flight was good. The sweet tea was not.
I never leave reviews but after today’s experience I think I have to. I can’t lie, I used to love Waterbean, but after today, I shall not return. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee for $6.47 only for the barista to fill up my coffee cup, less than half full. As soon as I got my Vietnamese coffee, I took a picture of my less than half-full cup because I was so shocked. When I approached the counter to politely ask why it wasn’t filled all the way, she goes “that’s just how it is because I didn’t put ice”. She also begged for a tip and made a face if I didn’t leave one so for that, I have to give the service a one star as well. My friend also ordered a hot coffee and the coffee wasn’t warm whatsoever and had giant chunks of coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup. If you want overly priced, half full, mediocre coffee, waterbean on metropolitan is the place for that. I hope they fix their customer service and their quality of coffee in the near future.

Understaffed, resulting in extremely slow service. As of writing this review, my husband and I have been waiting 20 minutes for 2 lattes. No one is making drinks, because the only person working up front is stuck continually taking orders. I'd like to just get my money back and leave at this point.

Unpleasant first experience -- Ordered: a plain bagel with lox and capers; and an everything bagel with lox, hold the capers. Received: plain bagel, no capers and NO LOX; everything bagel with capers and NO LOXI walked all the way back home only to realize this order was a mess.I returned to inquire about this order and to request a full refund. I was told the person who made this was from another location. They don't make lox bagels at other locations? Kiersten at the register said only the owner has the passcode to do refunds but she will call today to rectify this situation. I'll update my review upon the successful completion of my refund.Lesson: check your order at all locations, especially if you ordered the lox as I'm not sure which location the person who did not include lox normally works.
