Wheelz Pizza of Midtown Charlotte

Recently stopped by for a takeout order at Wheelz. Their website for order ahead was very straight forward. One con though. If you want to do a half topping there is no option. So, you pay full price for half. Their three cheese pizza is pretty good. The pepperoni had a nice kick and crunch to it. The white pizza was the real winner. If I were to return I would get a full size and probably make it two. The ricotta and greens on it added such a smooth and creamy flavoring. There is a small parking lot but it was not overly crowded. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes. They send you text alerts when they start the order and once it’s ready.

Ok this place has THE BEST FOOD. It has been my favorite pizza in CLT for a while now because you can just tell that the crust and tomato sauce is homemade and made with soul and a lot of love and that the ingredients like the mozzarella, meats, and veggies are very high quality but then last night I ordered the great price deal of the 1/3 rack of ribs and 10” pepperoni pizza for $24 and yall they do not mess around or short you THAT WAS A LOT OF RIBS and the flavor in the rib sauce was one I have never tasted (ribs are my favorite food and my grandpa owned a high end steak restaurant with damn good ribs)…they were no lie the BEST ribs I’ve ever had - fall off the bone and unique quality flavor (not just a bunch of sweet stuff on a rib rack)!! This restaurant never ceased to fully satisfy my cravings and leave my full and impressed. Eat the pizza and ribs here and you won’t be disappointed- but make sure you get extra tomato sauce on the side because it is BANGIN!!

We are moving and sad to leave because our new city won’t have Wheelz. Anytime we wanted pizza, we’d always go to Wheelz. So good. So fresh. And we love that it’s made with sourdough!!

Christopher makes some awesome pizza, is cordial & came by to make sure all was good!

Good pizza but takes FOREVER. Service was so slow. Was told 20 minutes when I phoned in the order. Came here in 40 and still waited another 15 minutes. Plus, they don't take cash because they don't have a safe.

The pizza was pretty good! However, their menu is a bit confusing. The screen jumps to the next page very quickly, and you have to stand there and wait for the next page to see choices. The staff gave us a leaflet, but there is no description on it, only showing the pizza names.😅

I met Christopher at Birdsong and asked him about catering a party at our house. He followed up the next day and he and Joy helped coordinate everything. Christopher catered the event and everyone left happy and full. Great guy, great food, great customer service. Would recommend!
