Everything about Mabel’s Kitchen is amazing. The food was amazing and filling. It truly felt like grandmas cooking. The environment was open and inviting. Towards the end of our time, one of the owners came to talk to us and told us how they got started and invited us back. Everyone is very friendly and we will be returning!
Ok, I admit I wasn't sure at first about a breakfast place attached to a gas station, but holy smokes! This place is awesome! Fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, delicious biscuits and gravy, and even their grits are excellent... And normally I don't eat grits. Very reasonable prices too! We will be eating here again soon. I'm a good cook, but I have to admit, their food is better than my homemade.
When I first saw the building I was so apprehensive because it's connected to a gas station. Due to the high reviews I took a risk and tried it. When I first walked in I was confused and was not sure if we sat and ordered or ordered at the front. I saw someone else order so I ordered. The cashier was really sweet.
