Great views with a relaxing, fun vibe. My two friends & I started with wine flights in the tasting room. I highly recommend The Bat Cave Red - very nice! The young man pouring was very knowledgeable about the wines and provided excellent customer service. I can not say the same for the restaurant staff. They were clearly understaffed (totally understandable these days), but the staff we encountered were sorely lacking in basic training. Our waitress was training a new person so I'm not sure why she or her trainee never checked back to see how our food was or to fill my empty water glass (I ended up drinking my friend's water). She entered the wrong table on our food order, so when I saw the food runner asking the 2-top next to us and walk past us to ask the 5-top behind us if the 3 plates were theirs, I let him know that it was our food: 3 plates, 3 people...hmmmm, it's not rocket science. He told me that since our table number didn't match the table number on the order, he'd have to take it back to the kitchen. Are you kidding me? On a positive note, when he came back with the same food, it was delicious. My reuben was one of the best I've ever eaten; the homemade sauce on it was great. After we finished (still no interaction with our waitress since ordering), we had to ask someone to get our waitress so we could pay. She was prompt with taking our payment but never returned with the take out boxes we requested for our leftovers. Another waitress graciously brought them after we asked her. As we were leaving, one of my friends spied a bottle stopper that she wanted to purchase in the small gift shop near the entrance. Since no staff was around, she walked over to the bar to pay for it. The staff person behind the bar was busy doing some paperwork. After politely waiting a couple of minutes without any acknowledgment, my friend asks if she can pay for the stopper. The staff person tells her that she's busy and that my friend will have to wait 15 minutes or come back. My friend told her thank you, but I'll just put it back. Again, we loved the place, the food, and the live music. Management really needs to provide some serious customer service training.

Delicious Reuben sandwich and great wine tasting menu to try. Gets busy at lunch time, parking can be annoying but it's worth it.

Really good smash burger, we almost went back the next day to get it again. We loved the sweet server, we had a baby with us and she made us feel at home. Good local crafts.

What a wonderful place to enjoy great wines and spectacular views. But here's the kicker - the food is outstanding! As in, the best food in town for a reasonable price. We had the spinach salad plus fish and chips and they were delicious. The server Hannah was super attentive and friendly. Even our Corgi got fresh water. Our new number one place to eat in Chimney Rock.

Purchased a bottle of Chardonnay and it was excellent wine. The server was quite helpful in letting us taste samples and make our decision. The live music was pleasant out on the patio.

Great wine, delicious food, and a beautiful location.
I dined solo and my waitress was very attentive, regularly checking in to make sure I was doing well. She also provided water without me having to ask, which I always appreciate at any restaurant being a human.
I enjoyed a flight of wine and each pick was delicious, though the Cabernet Sauvignon shined.
I ordered the egg rolls and was pleasantly surprised! Crispy and tasty, plus the coleslaw was very unique with what I assume was mustard seed.
A great experience. I look forward to returning in the future.
