Great sandwiches, great coffee, and great location. Not as cozy of a vibe as their old place up the street but much more seating space which is nice.

To the owners: please consider adding some coat hooks under the tables!

We stopped in for coffee; didn’t grab food but it looked good. The atmosphere was really nice but the customers did stare at me and my husband a little gruffly. Coffee was nice I’d recommend. They did have cute high top tables for kids. Staff was great and very fast at getting our order out. They also were very friendly and approachable despite being very busy.

Well I know this place is to be busy on a saturday at 10 but a to go sandwhich shouldnt take 30 minutes. Plus there is no designated waiting area, you are forced to stand and Have to move around every few minutes because of being in the way of people picking up their food and it is so small and hot. By the time I got my sandwhich, my coffee was nasty cold. It used to be a great space and now they’ve gotten too busy for their new location. This is not a peaceful place to go get breakfast, unfortunately..Wont be visiting again after this experience.

We love coming to boulevard to grab some coffee & breakfast! The employees always have a smile on their face and everyone is super friendly!
The picnic tables outside are the best seating when the weather is nice!

Kid-friendliness: It is definitely toddler friendly outside but you’ll need to be extra careful since the seating is on the sidewalk on main street:)

Great little coffee shop, we had breakfast and coffee, food/coffee was really good! The bagel & lox and the breakfast sandwich was delish. Worth a visit to downtown Clayton!

Parking: Parking on street or further up the way is a larger parking area.

The original location was a real diamond 💎 in the rough. The staff was so friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, and the food, you could tell was made with pride.

The new location is a bit disheartening for me, personally. It feels more sterile and bleak, less homey. The staff seem nice, but not necessarily kind, like they are PLEASED to have you there. And it is not set up for comfortable working space any longer. There are ZERO plugs on any walls, other than the bar, which is always full. I used to like going for a few hours, eating lunch, and then heading out. I’ve been twice now and the first time I had to leave cause my computer needed power. I ate and the chicken salad sandwich just wasn’t the same.

I went again and didn’t stay because though there were empty tables, there were no plugs. Again, both bars were full. I suspect this is a business decision, so people don’t camp out too long and take up space. I can respect that.

And also be disappointed.

Boulevard West has been my go-to coffee shop for a few years now. The coffee here is top-notch. Whether it be cold brew to hot lattes. The profile of the drinks is a flavourful kick with a smooth finish. This allows for any choice on how to have your coffee made. To add to your stop here, getting the "Classic BLT" sandwich is a favorite.

Besides what Boulevard West has to offer, what has been the reason for my continual visits over these past few years are the people that work here. Talking with them is as if I've just reconnected with a longtime friend. Currently, Genna has been crushing it! She is considerate to the customers, and her recommendations for drinks have never disappointed me.
