We have enjoyed our experiences at other Popeyes and then we tried this place. It was disappointing. The worst chicken tenders ever, nothing but breading, they even count the smallest pieces into our order. Food was at room temperature, mash potato was nasty, one taste and straight into the garbage. Improvement is needed for this place to survive. The first thing needed is to fire everyone who works here and prioritize hiring dedicated staff who care about customer service. We should have walked out before we ordered because the two people that ordered ahead of us had problems with their orders also.

I purchased 2 meals and the food was horrible. My daughter found a long piece of hair baked in to her chicken how disgusting. We threw the food away. I went back with my receipt for a refund and was told no. The manager called her manager and told me no. Offered me more food. Why would I want more of that nasty food. I will never eat Popeyes again. When they opened the line was down the block now its completely empty. The rating is a 2 out of 5. I see why. The food is greasy and nasty. I should have trusted my gut and never went there. Don't waste your $20 like I did. The manger was very nasty as well. No customer service skills. This was a bad idea bringing this to Clayton.

They not too long ago opened this one and to be honest it needs to be shut down it’s never a good experience either the strips are undercooked, they don’t have something like we are out of fries HOW!!! And it hasn’t just happened once multiple times man this is the worst Popeyes I have ever had and I was excited when they was building it

The town of Clayton should have decided to put another fast food establishment besides Popeyes. Their food is horrible and constantly running out of items. It’s Saturday 2:29 and they have no fries, not to mention my order was wrong 3 times. A simple 3piece combo dark meat, spicy was difficult task. The chicken was black and dry and my fries cold. I went inside to request a correct order and one of the employees informed me my batch of fries was the last. I said oh this explains the sogginess and cold fries. I then reiterated my order SPICY and yet in still they gave me original. This is exhausting I love Popeyes and this is close to my house. I guess I’ll drive all the Garner to get some Popeyes SMH. The only thing I enjoyed was my drink.

I was super excited to have a popeyes in the area, however- not this one. I have TRIED to have a positive mindset about this place and every time I go, I am instantly disappointed. WHY? because they don't have any food. You pull up to the speaker and start your order- only for them to tell you they are out of- and list of half the menu. The first 2 times it happened I chalked it up to maybe it's new and just trying to measure their food orders. Nope- every time we have tried since- they list off foods that they dont have. We don't go there anymore.

Literally the worst Popeyes you could go to. If you show up an hour before they close, they act like you showed up at closing time. If you order food from this restaurant, whether it’s Uber Eats or DoorDash. I could bet my 401k that you are not going to get everything in that order. They are lazy and nobody seems to care. I gave you another chance because I had a gift card, and my big box was a big disappointment.
The breast was dry and old, and the thigh was bleeding. My fries must have been under the heat lamp for days, old, cold, and inedible.
Clayton deserves better chicken than this!

My favorite foods there are cajin fries and cajin chicken sandwich. They are delicious. This is a new restaurant at Clayton NC.
Perla has horrible service she ignored me and when I told the Spanish manager Perla said in the background whatever avoid this location it’s new but the service is trash

I had a relatively good experience here, which surprises me considering all the negative reviews. I placed an order on the app and when I got to the restaurant less than 10 minutes later, my order was ready, the food was hot and everything was there, besides the drink, which luckily is easy to realize is missing. I politely mentioned I had a drink and the worker went and made it and was polite about it as well. The food was really good. Hopefully the next time I order, my experience goes just as smoothly.

I went inside to place an order stood there 5 to 10 minutes waiting for someone to serve me a couple of people came up by the register didn't even acknowledge that I was there. One employee was hiding by the bathroom area playing on his phone. Went through the drive-thru to get my order in the girl taking the order seem like she had an attitude problem. Very disappointed in this location even though the food was good the employees need to be properly trained in customer service skills

Ordered 12 piece chicken to take home to the family got home. Chicken was dry like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. It was dark like it been reheated in oil that had been burnt tasted like sawdust worst chicken I’ve ever had in my life.
