This is an awesome bar. They make cocktails with the syrups they use from scratch. The menu changes frequently, which makes going there more fun as you can be surprised with the something new to try. And they will always make classic drinks too. For whiskey fans, there are shelves stocked with many different bottles to pick from. This is a bar for people who appreciate good drinks (not just a beer or glass of wine). There is limited food selection but patrons are not discouraged from bringing something in (there’s a pizza spot next door). The atmosphere has a bar vibe, while also offering living room style seating, and outdoor seating with fire pits. Highly recommend giving it a try!

What an incredible place. It's like walking to a speak-easy from the 30s and 40s. Behind the bar is shelving that goes all the way to the 10 foot ceiling.filled with every kind of liquor you can think of. There is a ladder that glides from one end to the other that they climb to get bottles from the top shelves. One of the bartenders has competed in national competition and has won awards for his designer drinks.Walk through some doors into another large room that has wing back chairs and comfortable couches to sit in and enjoy your drink. We usually go on Saturday nights when they have live jazz from 8-11.If you are looking for some place to go and sit back, relax and enjoy a few drinks with friends then this is the place.

We will be back. Excellent hidden gem in downtown Clayton. We were greeted at the door by India. She gave us a quick overview and provided us with menus. We found a copy spot in the sitting room. India returned with a carafe of water and helped us select our drinks. Can't wait for our return in the near future. Would love to see this venue expand to Angier/Fuquay- Varina.

Wonderfully dark, open, friendly, and comfortable tavern with aptly named cocktails served well and full of personality and flavor. Make this place one of your stops when nearby.

Revival has a cool vibe. This was our first time here. But we heard they had great charcuterie boards and fun drinks. We didn't get any charcuterie because we came after dinner so I can't speak to that. There's the side with a bar. Very Busy! And the other side is filled with couches and chairs. It took awhile for us to find a place to sit and it was probably around 7:30pm. But since it was busy it too a while to get some service so be prepared for that on a busy day. I loved the bathroom they had a candle burning to make it smell good. I always love it when I see bathrooms that have hair pins, safety pins, tampons, hairspray, etc for women for any wardrobe malfunction or need to fresh up. Kudos! I got the drink "For the Peculiar Guest." Our waitress said it was one of her favorites but it's a bitter drink because of the base alcohol Malort. I had never had Malort before. I thought I would give the drink a try. It was good, a little bitter but not bad! And some background the bartender who created this drink also won best drink at a Malort fest in Raleigh recently. Quite an accomplishment! They have different mixed drinks - give them a try!

Revival is a fun and relaxing cocktail bar in Clayton NC. They have a seasonal cocktail menu and just about every liquor you can think of on the wall. The have some couches/rooms set up for you and your party to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. During this visit, we tried The Peculiar Guest, The French Antagonist and the Old Fashioned. The Peculiar Guest has a Malort as it's base and was mixed magnificantly. The French Antagonist used Cognac and was a delightful, light version of the old fashioned. I'll be back. I also took this awesome photo.
