Food was good, but I recommend disclosing the price of your water cup and the price change of fries before putting them on the bill. There are multiple opportunities on several paper menus to make minor corrections if the digital signage is difficult to update. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth even though the food is good.

I just ordered a cheesesteak to be delivered and I haven’t ever ordered from you before. I do not usually do reviews but I HAD to this time. That was the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had in my life! Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!

I have ordered from this place twice and both times my food was horrible. The service is just ridiculousThe first time my food was made wrong. The second time I would be ashamed to charge someone the price that I was charged for the little bit of chicken that was put on my Chicken Philly sub and for a small order of onion rings, I literally had five onion rings, one big one and the rest was small. I would be absolutely a shame to be the owner of this place never will I go back?

I just ordered a Philly cheesesteak from them being that I have worked in the food industry pacifically making Philly cheese steaks I know when Corners are being cut first off the meat was terrible tasting taste like it was sitting in a soup waiting to be sold the green peppers were out of a can which brings me to ask what exactly was fresh just the bread also now I am burdened with a killer headache one that I don't get unless I am exposed to pork which I do not eat and haven't eaten in over 7 years so there's most certainly cross-contamination going on lastly when I went to pick up my sub as soon as I walk through the door I was met with the smell of do do literally feces I almost canceled the order I should have had definitely disappointed I will definitely be passing on this information to whoever all I wanted was a Philly cheese steak and now my head is pounding spent $21 on a sandwich and a can Sprite only pick them because they had a decent rating on Google and they were nearby should have just went to Firehouse Subs

This is really starting to be my go to weeknight place. The menu has a lot of variety. Ill get lamb gyro with a side of southern fried okra and a tropical smoothie. Or a chicken Philly with grape leaves and backalava. We like to order online before we leave the house. Then its ready when we get there and we usually eat it there. Makes it some of the quickest food around. You can also get decently healthy salads. We have plans to branch out to the meals like lasagna eventually. This place feels like a nyc deli that has a little bit of everything the owner likes to eat. I like to support local so I wanted to recommend this place. Especially for weeknight dinner.

Great small business. Had a fresh-made philly cheese that was awesome. They even had special seasoning in the fries to zaz em up. Will be back regularly to try out their menu, including Rooka Kitchen, their Egyptian Food offerings! Thanks!

Hands down the best sub shop in Clayton!
St. George’s Subs is a hidden gem that absolutely delivers on flavor, quality, and service. Every time I stop in, I’m greeted with a warm smile and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The subs are packed with fresh ingredients, piled high, and toasted to perfection. Whether you’re craving a classic Italian, a Philly cheesesteak, or one of their signature creations, you honestly can’t go wrong.
What really sets St. George’s apart is their attention to detail—fresh-baked bread, quality meats and cheeses, and a perfect balance of sauces and toppings. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and you can tell they truly care about what they serve.
Support local and treat yourself—you won’t find better subs anywhere in Johnston County. This place is a must-try!
I ordered a Philly cheese steak. I specifically ask to toast my bread crispy. Lady nodded that she heard me. 1st is the bread came back very very soft but hot. The sandwich was cooked properly but I could only eat 1/3 It had some sour vinaigrette dressing on it. Place felt dirty. Lady who cooked my bogie took my money, did not smile nor made eye contact . Just not a positive experience. It’s tough spending 15 + on sandwich and
Feel a sense that I bothered them. Not sure if I would come again , not sure if staff would understand how I wanted it. This was 7/3
Cheesesteak was good, wings aren’t the best didn’t end up eating those. Store needs some cleaning.
Sandwich was ok. It wish the lettuce was a little fresher.
Have gotten steak subs here five or more times have been very pleased each time well worth the ride it takes a half hour or more to get there from my house that in itself says it all very pleased with this restaurant.
