“I really can't say enough about Bánh Mì Saigon in Greensboro, NC. The Bánh Mì are simply exquisite. House made baguette, pate, pork roll and other meats, veggies and Nước chấm sauce make for one of the world's greatest sandwiches. My favorites are the #1 and #2 Bánh Mì, but I'm making an attempt to try every single version of this fabulous concoction on their menu, and there are many versions. Also, don't be afraid to try their other specialties, like Cha Lua (Vietnamese Pork Roll) and the spring rolls are also excellent. Honestly, nothing's better for lunch or an afternoon snack than a Bánh Mì and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee (the large size please!). Service is fantastic. Prices are crazy good. Also, I've never been a fan of bubble tea, but theirs is actually pretty good. My ONLY complaint is that their hours are a bit limited (closes at 6pm), but that's OK. They work hard to make these ridiculously good sandwiches.”

“What can I say??? We LOVE English Rose. It’s a comfortable place where we can go have coffee and a treat, or ice cream, or my favorite energy drink. Marie and her family are the best. They have created a wonderful community gathering place for Pleasant Garden and the surrounding Southeast community. We also enjoy Food Truck Fridays. Marie’s creativity and desire to unite the community have brought a wonderful addition to Pleasant Garden. My favs: chocolate brownie and Granny Squares and the gluten-free guava cupcakes”

“First time eating here. Cute decor inside and liked the 98 health department rating that was prominently displayed.... you would have to be blind as a bat not to see it🙂. Good, attentive service. “This little unpretentious gem may be reason enough for me to move to Greensboro. It’s a “mom and pop” small kitchen in the back of the grocery store. They make everything fresh and uses the freshest quality ingredients. I made a stop on the way to the airport to take away food. It’s so wonderfully good. The cooks truly care about their creation and it shows. There aren’t much ambience, but it’s very clean and comfortable. I can’t recommend highly enough as Lao/Thai person.”

“I’m so glad this place is still here. I have fond memories of eating here with my mom, when she was in an assisted living facility nearby. I wish there were more basic, diner-style, customer-focused restaurants like Betty’s Kitchen. Several good ones in Greensboro, where I live, have closed.”
