Walked in to get a togo New York style pizza. Just cheese. Girls at the counter were very nice and helpful. When you walk in you can tell it's a New York style place in the south. Pizza was fantastic! Above average for sure. Foldable and crust was crisp to perfection. Very pleased with the outcome. Great job!

Great NY Pizza, and I'm from NY! Great place, everyone is always great. A+ all around!
I am from Northern New Jersey and have not had authentic Italian food in NC. I had dinner with friends at Brooklyn South and it was absolutely delicious. The issues I had were not regarding the food...you order food at the register and your food is brought to your table...your food arrives piping hot but you are given paper plates while your food is served on dishes. Eating pasta with vodka, which was absolutely scrumptious, but I had to ask for more paper plates. The servers were friendly and accommodating.

The food is good the price meh but it's worthKid-friendliness: The people were nice
Let me preface this by saying we are from Chicago and well our expectations are a little high. I ordered the penne pasta primavera which was basically underdone pasta, not al dente, water as a sauce and literally no spices or taste. My husband ordered the sausage, peppers, onions on penne pasta which he liked. The pizza was good, but average for this area. Sorry, not a fan.

Love this place! The Baked Ziti Siciliana is so good!Vegetarian options: Lots of options! Eggplant is the primary meat substitute here- delicious!
Moved to area a while ago and thought we would give this place a shot. Pictures on line displayed s nice Italian restaurant . To my surprise we arrived to find no-one greeting at the door , after standing a the door confused someone yelled just go to counter and order . (Didn't think i was going to McDonald's) We looked at menu and gave our order to a young woman who acted like we were an inconvenience. I took out my american express card and handed it to this young lady who threw it back at me stating "We don't take American Express ! ". I paid cash in disbelief wondering why some owner thinks its a good practice to not accept amx . The next insult was the cashier says "leave your tip here! Laughable ! Food didnt come out together, first salad, then five minutes later calzone, then ten minutes later the pasta dish . It would have been nice if everyone in our group could eat together. The food was good except the calzone was cold. The primary reason i would not return is the employees attitudes and not taking American express.
anybody that gives this place less than a 5 star review should be vaporized immediately. None shall prevail against the Kingdom of Brooklyn South. A community staple for over a decade. If you don't like it you are a heretic undeserving of the original New York flop.

I came here in 2003 while working on Talladega Nights, being from NJ I was looking for decent pizza in Cornelius NC Good luck right? It was awesome, living in SF Ca. and never been back til this week while visiting Charlotte, I just wanted to make sure my memory of this place was right. It was just as good as I remember, thank you everyone for doing pizza right btw the baked ziti is killer also. I'll definitely come back on my next trip to NC. Worth the wait and drive Johnny b
