Fusion Bowl Cornelius

I have lived in China for 20 years. So I am somewhat fluent in Chinese. But the service staff didn’t know that. A few days ago I went to order take away. To my dismay they began talking about me in a derogatory manner. Heiren Yao dou shi yu= This black person wants all fish/sushi Heiren tai ma fan le. Yi qian ta men geo wo ma fan. Wo bu shi huan= Black people are troublesome. They have given me trouble before. I don’t like them. I wasn’t surprised what they were saying. In China racism against black people was a common occurrence when I was there. I began speaking to the wait staff in Chinese. He acted like he didn’t understand what I was saying. Needless to say I won’t be spending my hard earned money in that place again. I hate talking about race. I’m not woke or anything. However, I must warn black people to stay away from this place. We are not welcomed there. My wife is Chinese and we have two children, so I have no axe to grind. Also the food was mediocre and over priced for the proportion you are getting.

Amazing food, great prices, super friendly staff! Bourbon chicken is one of our favorites. They’re also very accommodating for the picky eaters in the family. Can’t recommend enough!

If you're in the mood for Asian cuisine, Fusion Bowl is the place to go. They have the traditional meals plus their own specials and should you like sushi, they have that also!

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. The service is fast and the sushi is always fresh and really good! We love coming here to eat as a family

The food and service was excellent. My dish actually was about the best I have had in any Asian restaurant. Perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Egg roll excellent also. Service on point.

The restaurant interior and atmosphere were nice, as was our server. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the food. We ordered the Combo Appetizer described on the menu as "for 2" and says it comes with potstickers, egg rolls and spring rolls (all plural). What we received was 1 of all of the above. All the fried items tasted stale and old. We also ordered lo mein and cashew chicken. Both were under seasoned and bland. They were much better as leftovers...after adding much needed seasonings as home. While we enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, it seems the food is sacrificed to maintain it. We paid $60 for food that was served with half the items listed on the menu and tasted like it was cooked days before by someone who didn't want to use up their seasonings too quickly.

I love Fusion bowl at Mooresville location so I thought of giving it a try at Cornelius. Ordered shrimp tempura sushi rolls, vegetable spring rolls and chicken fried rice (asked to make spicy). Spring rolls were okay, spicy mayo was sour (probably stale), chicken fried rice was bland (no salt, no spice). Also area looks shady. No street lights in the parking area. Feels like I’m entering a shady massage parlor. Avoid this location and
save money & time.

I ordered to - go and I got Teriyaki Steak Bento Bowl- the food was subpar . The sushi was the only good part. The egg roll was half burnt on the inside, the “teriyaki steak” was and didn’t not taste like anything, and the portion size for the price is not reasonable. Maybe sitting in will be different but ordering to-go is nasty. I couldn’t even finish all the food. The meat has liquid in it. There’s no flavor.
