Update-Love how you apologize, but in fact just making more excuses. Like state previously. Your kitchen have 2 chef with one server. As we walk in, there is one table of 2 already eating. One table of four already ordered. Whose food was delivered 5 min after we entered. And one party of 2 who entered about 30min after us. That meant you had 2 Chef 1 server vs 2 tables. If that is busy in your standard. I have nothing to say. We also saw 2 DoorDash drivers in the hour and half span.
To the point you made about us finishing the food. We came in starving. 30 min later your server came and said you have no ingredients. Offered us the option to leave. We clearly stated that we are too hungry to go somewhere else or wait for 15min for the correct dish. Just serve us whatever you had on the menus, even if it is not what we ordered and what we wanted. And it took them another 20-30 min to get the food (the compensating, not what we ordered) to us. yes - we are going to finish the food unless we think there is safety issue. But no- the food is not fully cooked. They only put the noodles in 50min after we ordered, and they only started cooking the noodle when I made a point to sit at the bar and stared at the kitchen. And by no means that means we are satisfied.
Original answer: We went there at 6pm to order a Bun bo hui. 20 minutes after we ordered they came out and let us know, they are out of the noodle. We can have a replacement noodle instead of the original noodle, we can also wait for another 15 min for the original noodle or we can just leave, there will be no problem. We assumed everything else is ready and told them, they can just do the replacement noodle, however, we do expect a discount. The server agreed. The server went back to the kitchen for another 15min, at which point we started being impatient. please mind that it was by no means busy, there is 2 other table there and are already eating. I went to the bar and ask them where our food is, they told us they are waiting on the broth. I find it hard to believe that for a place that only serve pho, they have no broth, no noodle and took 50 min to make everything. I sat at the bar to see what they are doing. Of course they brought the food out within 5 min. We finished the food, but first of all, the meat in the bun bo hue is not for bun bo hue, it is for regular pho. Secondly, the broth wasn’t even hot. And third of all, the noodle is half raw. When we paid, the server then declared they never agreed on a discount and then got impatient. If you customer is not even impatient to wait 50min for luke warm, half raw noodles. I don’t see what the point of this business is.

I ordered take out. Service was clear and fast. If you have a queasy stomach, get the Vegetable Pho. It doesn’t have the high fat broth like regular pho, and all ingredients are separate from the broth so you can add or omit whatever. I also got a regular Thai tea. I can’t wait to try the Pad Thai when I’m feeling better!
Vegetarian options: I’m not a vegetarian, but you can basically omit meat from anything.

It is always a hit or miss trying a new Vietnamese restaurant. Being half Vietnamese, it is important to me that I taste the authenticity in Vietnamese Pho. I have to say the beef broth at this restaurant is delicious. I ordered the pho special, and it was delicious. There were not a lot of customers, which surprised me since this place is amazing. I love the atmosphere, and the service was great as well.

Food was decent. Staff was nice and friendly. Portions are not worth the money we spent. Which was over 50 with tip. Saw 2 roaches crawling past my husbands feet. We also tried to order eggrolls but they were out that day. So just got bowl of pho. And smoothies. Smoothies were good. But sorry will not be back. Still left hungry after spending over 50 on eveything. Thank you.

Would not return or recommend. I got the pho special which cost over $16. There was not even half of a meatball; I had to search through the noodles to find any protein. So disappointed because I usually love pho so much.

If I could give it a zero star rating I would. I very very rarely write reviews that are negative but I don’t want anyone to waste money here. The pho ga was not only the worse Iv ever had but this may have been the worst restaurant meal I’ve ever had. First,the amount of chicken for the whole meal was equal to about one chicken strip from chick Fil a. Second,the broth was HORRIBLE. The broth had zero seasoning/flavor and literally just tasted like chicken grease water. The instant soup you get from the gas station has way more flavor. I have no clue if I just had a really messed up batch but I don’t know who could eat that and think it’s actually good. The only reason we went was because Pho Nam was closed. Please do not waste your money here!
