My guy took me to this place for my 40th bday. I loved it. The scenery was everything. I wish they gave more food. But it was a fancy restaurant so it was expected. If your getting 2 drinks just go ahead and pay the extra $10 for the bottle

I love this place especially for the view of the lake, this weekend I went and I dared to order different dishes, I loved the prickly pear, it was perfect, my boyfriend was delighted with the seafood, they served us wonderfully! ! Recommended!!

I was considering coming to Port City for a club dinner since I had been there before. But this time I felt the food you got was greatly overpriced and not worth the value. I had a $68 steak and then added Asparagus for $8 and potatoes for $8. The $8 asparagus was 5 stalks of Asparagus, differently not sharable. Way overpriced for the group I was planning to bring. I asked for a window seat in an empty restaurant on a Sunday night and my party of 3 was put in a corner. Do not plan to come back.

Extremely expensive for what you get. You're definitely paying for the atmosphere. 18$ for bacon hanging on a clothesline.

We ordered grilled pita (12$), and were given a colander with a single pita cut in half with no tzatziki. When asked if there should be something else with it we were told that's how it is, though the menu clearly has multiple 'sides' listed.

Food all came out at separate times, with 5 minutes between the second to last item and final item (a burger).

Waiter was friendly and attentive.

As always, the food and the view were great. The service was sub par at best. Not sure whether they were short staffed but we had to chase our waiter down after placing our appetizer order and still not receiving it after 45 minutes. The restaurant wasn't that busy either. Not sure whether we will be back.

We don't go out much. We were able to take an evening on our conference trip to have a date. It was a nice treat and break from life at home. A nice way to end a long trip.

Menu was very limiting. The flatbread pizza looked like someone dumped a jar of sauce on top, definitely not an artisan pizza. The crab cakes were deep fried which stole flavor from the intended crab taste. On the flip side, the goat cheese appetizer was fabulous! Just not sure how often I'd return.

The Port City is one of my new faves! I just love the Orange Julius and Lobster dumplings though only four at $5 each is bit much since I would love them as a meal!!!! The Chili Crusted Seared Tuna is amazing!!! Hope to make it a monthly stop.

We had not revisited this restaurant since we discovered it after our move to the area 5.5 years ago so we wanted to try it again with some friends who had also previously tried it but were not enticed to go often. The restaurant footprint is huge (not cozy or remarkable in layout) and staffing is small so you could be left for long periods of time once the server disappeared into the main restaurant (we were in the covered outer patio). Food was good -- the whipped goat cheese appetizer in particular was very good -- but good is as much as I can say. Our side salads were brought out with our entrees which made for a full table of plates. The Kale Caesar was also very good but the mushroom ravioli, while it had wonderful flavor, was dry -- like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The Sea Bass was nicely done though. The other entree salads were good as well while not remarkable. The question is: was that enough to entice us to go back often and sadly the answer is no. Maybe for drinks on the outdoor patio in nice weather but I would not put it on my hot list of restaurants to frequent which makes me sad since there are so few restaurants on the lake.

The restaurant is looking very dated and shabby. Ordered Cioppino (which was very good). Delivered to the table by a kid who looked about 15. I asked for a bowl for shells. He looked confused but brought me another soup bowl. I asked for the little forks to for the mussels. Again he looked confused. When he returned, he said they didn't have any. I then asked for a soup for the broth. Rather than a soup spoon, he brought me a dinner spoon. It was obvious that neither he nor our server had been taught how to serve Copping. Later the server apologized for the lack of the little forks. She said they used to have them but not anymore. We had Cioppino and salmon. We had no sides which are extra cost. No bread is offered or available. We had no drinks. For this the bill was $80.00!! The environment and service here is no way worth that high cost. We will not be returning anytime in the near future. This is sad because it used to be a very nice restaurant.
