So many cool things about Low Tide. We love a limited menu. Better than a 'junked up' menu that caters to every type of tourist. Pet friendly - with a pup menu! House made seasonings added a nice kick to the shrimp. Excited to see that they offer ice cream sandwiches from Surfin' Spoon. This supports a local business AND a local yearly event, Surfing for Autism. Looking forward to going back soon!

Service was great. Very attentive waitress. The atmosphere was pleasent and clean. Very small menu which is a great thing. It means more focus on perfecting a few items than many. Some of the food however was a little off. We got the peel and eat shrimp appetizer which is steamed shrimp, seasoned with a mean shrimp spice, along with cocktail and another special shrimp sauce. Somthing about the shrimp smelled odd. The taste was ok but the smell bad. Didn't know if it was the seasoning or the shrimp was going bad. It also wasn't deveined. I got the shrimp and grits which was good. It had fried pork belly which was top notch and a beer cream sauce! My wife got the crab cake entrée. The dish came with potatoes and asparagus. Both were really good. The crab cake was very simple. Limited ingredient mixture with a healthy portion of crab. They were ok. Biggest negative was the peel and eat shrimp. Otherwise a decent place to eat.

This place is dynamite !! Every dish was better than the next!! We had a table of ten and we each had a different meal and appetizer!! So much attention to each dish with a delicious result , your taste buds will go wild! And the food was served super hot!!!!!!! I would highly suggest Low tide !! Compliments to a chef how truly cares and enjoys serving up a culinary delight to his customers!

Stopped in for an afternoon snack and a drink. Fried green tomatoes were great. I think our pup’s meal was the highlight of the stop. The fur baby menu was a hit with our boys.

We found this to be a nice quiet casual spot for Saturday evening dinner, no waiting for a table. Menu has several options including a kids menu. The shrimp and grits was actually a bit too rich for me, will order something else next time.

My experience here was not good at all. We made a reservation for 6:30pm and arrived 10 minutes early. We were seated right away and remained there for the next 35 minutes with no service. There were two waiters in the section that had 7 tables. Not once were we even asked if we wanted water. I have no pictures to share because there was no experience. We walked out and didn’t look back. Hope this isn’t the normal case

The pretzels had NO flavor. The Dark Chocolate Martini was the WORST drink I have ever had in my life. Tasted like bottom shelf vodka. I couldnt even finish it. The prices on the menu DO NOT match the receipt. Our server was ok. My husband loved his Mahi tacos, the fries, and the slaw. We will not be back. Not worth the price!!

Amazing food and beverage selection. Also, extremely dog friendly and even has a dog menu featuring bowls, baked and frozen treats. I like coming in to the area earlier in the day to avoid the traffic and needed a place to hang with the dog. Would recommend to anyone.

Try this restaurant for the first time at OBX. I was somewhat disappointed with the Quality of the dishes we chose. The goat cheese, ravioli, the burger, the lobster roll, and the Fresh catch of the day.
The first had a bitter taste, which we later found out it was because they add beer at the end; the second had a very dry old taste; the lobster roll would have been fine except for the garnish on it but again it was Cajun style, so I was not familiar with that. The fresh catch a mahi-mahi That was introduced to me as tuna when it arrived, but in fact was mahi-mahi, was very dry as were the potatoes it came with.
We chose not to have dessert after that.

By far the best meal we had on our vacation, so much so that we came twice for dinner! Best restaurant in Corolla! Get the crab cakes! You won't regret it! Finish off with a homemade ice cream sandwich and maybe even start with the delicious shrimp and corn chowder. Also have a menu for the kids with crayons with is huge for a family with a 2 year old and 6 year old! Thank you!!!!
