We love sooeys, its one of our favorite parts about coming down to OBX, this trip was lacking a little, we weren't given much sauce for 2 sandwiches and our hushpuppies were not hot, but I understand they were a little busier so I still highly recommend trying.

This was our first time going, our waitress was nice and polite and she was pretty good. The food was also pretty good and it came out quickly, the only complaint is that it was way to cramped in there, to many tables in one small room. Overall, pretty good food and good service, way to cramped within the building.

We had a group of 10 people and with no reservations we were facing 2-hour plus waits at a lot of the other restaurants in the area. We were just about to give up and order a pizza when we called Sooey's and were told no wait. Maybe we got lucky because after we came in it started getting busy real quick. My daughter tried ribs for the first time and is now HOOKED. I had the fried chicken with brisket plate and I thought it was really good. I'm not a food aficionado,...
